Since you cannot add anything worthwhile to the discussion, I will refrain from replying to anymore of your intelligent and insightful posts.
Probably for the best. It's impossible to have the kind of "debate" in which you seek in which evidence, logic, and reason back your entire belief system into a corner and call it what it truly is. When this happens, you will simply lash out with the "faith" cop out, defrauding the entire debate instead of changing under the overwhelming amount of evidence to the contrary.
If you believe that God is the ultimate judge, as written in the Bible(although I suppose its convenient to pick and chose what you believe in the Bible; note: its an all or nothing decision), then you have to be against mortal punishment. If not, then you are advocating for the existence of man to act as God; which of course is a violation of the ten commandments.
You don't find it all embarrassing that your entire belief system, one in which you profess your ignorance and spend your whole life believing, can be absolutely ravished by simple logic games? Religion is for the poor and stupid, to give them control over their pathetic lives, because its part of God's plan and if they behave on Earth they will get rewarded in Heaven. It's a comfort blanket given to the weak and ignorant in exchange for them remaining in a constant irrelevant nature.
I'm sorry if the truth offends you. The truth isn't easy, but your failure to answer any relevant questions and instead dodge or instill faith as a cop out, prevent me, the rational intelligent atheist, from engaging in any sort of debate with you.
Like I said, continue to believe whatever you need to believe to get you through life. Keep it out of the government though, your beliefs have never, can never, and will never be proven. How does that feel?
