1. Believe it's likely that person existed in real life as a prophet of his man-created faith.
2. Also believe it's likely that said person was executed because in times of conflicting religious beliefs, that's how "gods" liked to have their problems solved.
3. Therefore, must believe every story about said person...no matter how fanciful they may be. Walk on water, instantly feed masses by causing food to multiply, auto-turn water into wine, cure lepers, come back from the dead, bring someone else back to life, etc. If anything about him is real, it all is. No questions asked.
Lol. By those standards, one could pick up the Frontiersmen by Allan Eckert and say that since Tecumseh, Simon Kenton, Daniel Boone, etc. were real people, then every word in that book is law. Even the parts that are obviously dramatized to make it a more interesting read that feels more like a novel than a historical account of that time period in Ohio.
