To be fair, the Reds and Twins don't pay big bucks to keep their stud pitchers (see Santana, Johan), they pay big bucks to keep their everyday players. So it's not really fair to compare the CC and Lee situations to that. However, not spending on Victor is a good example. Cleveland will always be a football town, especially if both teams are competing. I'd have to go with the Browns playing competitive football, but I agree meaninful baseball games in September when the Jake is sold out is awesome. We were truly spoiled in the 90's.
