Lol, I'm totally kidding. He has had 2 nice games back to back against playoff teams but I don't trust any goalie who wears the red white and blue.

A UniWatch contributor decided to "rebrand" some teams (I think the worst teams in each league in the US). The Columbus BlueJackets were selected, here's what he developed:

Nash is gone after the season. Simple as that.

Build the team around Yakupov and Johansen.

No. Just no. Hate the green, looks too much like the Wild (our sister expansion team) and Columbus, Ohio, USA has to be RW and B.

Funny - Montreal and CBJ both RW and B and both are in the basement, maybe it's time for a color change.

Do you think it matters what pick they get?

Also, not sure they lower their demands on what they want in return so i could see him staying if demands aren't matched.

Yakupov looks like he'll be a beast someday. But trade Nash if you want to be in the conversation with the big boys of the Central Division in 5 years

Columbus, OH, USA needs to go back to the SILVER AND BLACK!!!! Forget the Jackets, forget the "Generals", bring back the only hockey team that Columbus ever really cared about. Bring back THE Chill!

As for Nash, I don't see any reason to get rid of him unless someone blows them away for an offer. He still is one of the better players in the NHL and with a high draft pick and some young potential he can still be a part of the future. He's under contract....Plain and simple. No one forced him to sign his extension. Now getting rid of Priest and Howson on the other hand...

Nash reminds me of Buford. They do well when there are other great players around them, but can't be relied on when they are expected to be the leader.

The wrap it up as now they get to choose whether they want the LAK's #1 pick from this year or next. They only have to let the Kings know that they're taking it two picks in advance.

Take this years pick.

Draft Yakupov then draft a Dman late since this draft is loaded with Dmen.

My guess is they'll trade it or package it with Nash for a #1 goalie. Their D isn't too bad now.

Wiz
JMFJ
Toots
Nikitin
Methot
Moore

They've been playing halfway decent even with Aaron Johnson on the ice.

They have a very solid top 6 in:

JMFJ-Wiz
Toots-Nik
Methot-Moore

They could draft Vasillevski or Subban who are two goalie that should go in the range in which the Kings should finish.

At this point, there's no way Vancouver is going to let go of Schneider.

I honestly gave up on this team a few months ago, but it sounds like Johnson has been a beast so far. Let's hope him and Wiz can atleast give us a respectable D-pairing for a few years to come.

As far as Nash goes, its upsetting to see him leave but at this point he doesn't seem to have any motivation to play for the CBJ anymore. Would anybody in his situation? It's time for a change, and if Howson is not fired within the first few weeks of the offseason I might give up on this team forever.

The extra point is good. 7-2 Jackets. Cam Atkinson is showing some skills the last few games, two more goals tonight after a hat trick against Colorado.

Countdown to the draft lottery starts after this one. Let's hope the Jackets can get the #1.
