In reality, I went in to buy 5$ worth and only had a twenty. Just bought 20$ worth.

Not really. You have 0 chance of being elected POTUS with only $1 to spend on your campaign.

Winning this lottery, on the other hand, would substantially improve your chances of one day becoming POTUS.
