The best part about this, is the number of people that will not buy any tickets when the pot is a paltry 150 million.

Then it gets over 400 million and there are lines of people that are throwing money at this. Like, I am too good to play this shit when all I can get is a lump sum of 75 million. Then the pot gets above 200 million and they are like FUCK YEAH!!! I'M IN!

Yep. Had drudge not had it on page 1, I'd never had remembered to pick one up. Its not that I'm too good for lesser jackpots. But i don't think about lottery until it makes news.

I heard the odds are better to becoming President of the US...dont know if that is true or not...but if so taht is pretty depressing!

Somebody becomes President once every 4 or 8 years. People win the lottery all the time.

I saw this on another thread when the lump sum would have been approximately $250 million.

You can have a 100k/week budget and that will last 48 years.
