I would agree that Kansas has overachieved more than Louisville.

Louisville was preseason #6 (albeit a bit overrated even then IMO). Kansas was expected to be "down" this year, and even their fans will admit it's a shock to make the Final Four. They remind me a lot of Kentucky last year. Thin team, but just enough talent, chemistry and intangibles to keep advancing.

Once you get to the Final Four, it's 40 minutes and that's it. Anything can happen.

Not taking anything away from Kansas, but they've had about the easiest path to the FF as possible. The best team they played was without their best overall player.

KU took care of business and beat who they should have though.

Only UK choking like usual can keep them from winning it all.

Who exactly do you think they've choked against? Just wondering. In the last 10 years, they've been upset four times. Once was by #2 West Virginia in the Elite 8, once was a 2v5 double overtime matchup with Michigan State in the Elite 8, once was a 1v3 matchup in the Final 4 against Dwyane Wade's explosion and Tom Crean, and once was an actual bad loss against UAB.

I consider 2 times chokes. UAB and WVU. Calipari adds a 3rd in the '08 title game. Outside of that, none.

Not sure I totally agree with this when you look at PURE talent on the floor. Robinson is an absolute stud. When you have a guy like that to build around, that will take you pretty far. Taylor has been pretty damn good on the year a well. The talent has been there with him. And now is surfaced. And then they have a very nice supporting cast. Yes, they did better than expected. But when I look at UL and KU, I think UL making the final four is more of a surprise. Preseason rankings mean nothing to me until I see the teams play. Once you get through non conference, you then get a good picture of who is going to compete for a run in NCAA. I am not taking anything away from KU or Self. Yes, they have exceeded expectations u could say. But then again, that is a very talented group. People just didn't know the talent because of what they had last year.

I would luv nothing more(except an OSU win) than to see UL upset UK tonite. Just so I can see/hear the UK fans heads EXPLODE in unison!! lol I think its VERY, VERY doubtful it will happen. But it would be a thing of beauty!

That surprises me. Figured you'd want them to win so OSU could get a shot at revenge for last year should the Buckeyes beat Kansas.

That's why its a win win to me if Ohio State beats Kansas. Louisville wins and the best team is out, Kentucky wins and Ohio State can get redemption for last year. Either way Monday night would be great.

Nah, makes me no difference really. I personally can't stand Cal. So anytime I see him get beat, I get some satisfaction. ;) I think its highly doubtful anyone beats UK. Sure, I'd luv nothing more than OSU beating them. But its a LONG shot for any of the 3 to do so.

Not often a team goes through the tournament with all double digit wins.

Louisville has played with some grit late in the season. I'm thinking if Kentucky gets pushed into a game where they have to win late it will be this one rather than on Monday.

Once they get to the title game it will be a runaway.

It's looking like Louisville playing not to lose instead of playing to win.
