There in-fact really is such thing as a Bible.password;1124457 wrote:How can you have a game show about something that is not real? What will be next, a game show about the tooth fairy.
Yes, it is a book full of fairy tales.
xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1124548 wrote:There in-fact really is such thing as a Bible.

Define belief and what the bible has to do with that belief, please.redstreak one;1125067 wrote:... ..its more about belief than believing a man built a boat, took every animal species on board while the whole world flooded.
The Bible is nothing more than a tool created by man to be used by man to try and follow the word of God. I can believe with out it no doubt, but to some they feel it is the word of God handed down through man.said_aouita;1125074 wrote:Define belief and what the bible has to do with that belief, please.
I say "I don't know" either way, forcing you to prove your claim. You also are living your life based on a claim that has not and will never be proven.redstreak one;1125136 wrote:The Bible is nothing more than a tool created by man to be used by man to try and follow the word of God. Arguing belief isn't my point, my point was the hypocrisy that a benevolent being doesn't exist on the word or belief of some posting here.
It's no difference, you say a God doesn't exist solely on your word. I believe God does exist solely on my word! lol
Sounds good.redstreak one;1125159 wrote:^^^^ Thats the great thing sleeper, I dont have to answer to you! lol I dont have to prove it to anyone but me and God. It's my burden to bear that, and I will do it.
I was just trying to point out that some posters on here slam the idea of a God without any proof either. Nothing more, not trying to start a deep religious debate. I know better, I am not as smart as some on here are!
This is a contradiction - Man can't create something and have it handed down through them, it's one or the other. Why would god leave it up to man to interpret his words? If he created the world i'm sure he could've created a book with his words and teachings. Instead, we have lots of books that are interpretations that people can't agree on - thus we have retards like Santorum trying to run the country, not to mention wars. God is great though!redstreak one;1125136 wrote:The Bible is nothing more than a tool created by man to be used by man to try and follow the word of God. That is debatable whether or not man can have something given to him by God, thats the problem. It boils down to faith. You dont believe it, and that is fine. I know you are not saying that believing in a benevolent being is the only major causation of war! lol I believe greed has led the human race down many a path of destruction.Raw Dawgin' it;1125251 wrote:This is a contradiction - Man can't create something and have it handed down through them, it's one or the other.
