Corgan is a horrible singer, I'll give you that, but the band could play and the writing was decent.

That crappy link IWP posted, that sucked. If I'm the worst I'd hate to see the best. That was freaking godawful.

Certainly The Killers can be hipsterish, but its good music, Modest Mouse is crap.

Because they are, you know, good. I can't upload videos from here but Ronnie Vanucci has more talent than all of Modest Mouse combined. Their lyrics can be esoteric, but the dude can play the drums. He's one of the best percussionists of our generation.

you are comparing the killers, one of the biggest one cd wonders in the world, with modest mouse; almost 7 cds and counting and with all of them garnering success. Like I said, keep it up, you look great!

Day and Age hit 3 million, and Sam's Town hit 4 million, that's multi-platinum.

Again the thread is about about a band called "Modest Mouse" - if you enjoy it, great. They are still called Modest Mouse.

Day and Age has only sold 500,000. It's only RIAA certified "gold" in the United States. Sam's Town only hit 1,000,000 in the United States. It's only RIAA certified "platinum". You're looking at global numbers, and like I said, nobody cares about Euro record sales.

And lol, what the hell does the name of a band have to do with anything. A band called Red Hot Chili Peppers has been topping the charts for 20 years. Foo Fighters just won some grammies. It's not as if The Killers is a real original name.


I like the Killers' one good album as much as anyone, but you're making stupid arguments.
