I don't just mean pet peeves that annoy you, but what truly just absolutely pisses you off anytime it happens.

The thing that never fails to piss me off is the guy going 10 mph under the speed limit for absolutely no reason. What makes it worse is they will drive past multiple speed limit signs and drive up multiple hills where they can see the line of traffic forming behind them. These people need their licenses revoked.

I was going to say the exact same thing, but it's not JUST speed limit. It is inconsiderate drivers. I had a guy last night that slowed to a near stop to turn left onto a country road. There was NOTHING in the oncoming lane, for miles. I know that it's "illegal" to get in the left lane, but it is the unwritten rules of the road. There are all sorts of "unwritten rules" of driving, that people refuse to acknowledge, that pisses me off. No, it really grinds my gears.

Disphit arrogant wrestling refs who act like everyone comes to see them officiate matches at a tournament. It pisses me off how they never think they are wrong, even when the rule book clearly states they are wrong. They always have to find a way to get involved in the match too, i.e. penalizing a the leading wrestler with a stall call(yes I realize most posters don't know wtf im talking about) at the end of a match, even though he was pressing action the whole match. It also pisses me off how the fellow refs will always run to their "brother's" defense no matter how shitty the call is. These types of refs seem to show up the most during the most important time of the year for wrestlers (sectionals, districts, state).

The guy is 10 mph under because he's stoned.

What "grinds my gears" is the idiot drivers who are in too much of a rush. Funny when after a few stop signs/lights all they've gained was a couple of car lengths.

Didn't know it was against the law to go 10 mph under the speed limit. Not surprised though that the usual QQ'ers have found something new to QQ about. Life is way too short to be stressed by insignificant things that happen in everyday life.

Impeding the normal flow of traffic.
4511.22 Slow Speed - No driver may operate a vehicle at such a slow speed so as to impede the normal flow of traffic except when necessary for safe operation or to comply with law. The capabilities of the vehicle and its operator must be considered when deciding if an infraction has been committed.

That being said...my youngest son got his temps yesterday, so we will be doing lots of driving on back roads over the next six months. Do you suggest I start out teaching him to pull into the wrong lane just so we don't disturb the driver behind us?

No, you teach him to be considerate of other drivers.

What grinds my gears is the damn tanker truck at the fire department. Old 84 Ford truck with the 4 hi low and 4 high gears. That think grinds all the way to the fire and back.

10 mph under the posted speed limit is not considered impeding the flow of traffic. If I am driving 60 in a 70 I am not getting a ticket. If I am driving 55 in a 65 I am not getting a ticket. If I am driving 45 in a 55 I am not getting a ticket, If I am driving 25 in a 35 I am not getting a ticket. If I am driving 15 in a 25 I am not getting a ticket.

Hope this helps.

Even if it means breaking the law? No thanks. I will teach him to follow the law even if he has to be an a-hole to do it. Ever paid insurance for a kid that's had a ticket BEFORE they got their license?

You realize it is a judgement call right? If the cops sees someone going 35 in a 45 with a mile of traffic behind them in clear weather and dry roads (which is what pisses me off) they are probably getting pulled over. If you cruise past a cop at 10 under with no one behind you, or there is 10" of snow on the ground, then they won't bother you.

LOL. It's called common courtesy to other drivers on the road. You ever been coming up on someone, who is turning left, and they get into the left lane to make their turn (seeing there is nothing coming in the other lane), so that you can go past them?

It's why they are called "unwritten" rules.

Yes they will. They'll pull you over every time.
