OSU will have to get some contribution from Loving. My question is, what the heck does OSU do inside? Williams is terrible offensively. Ross, Thompson and Loving are all have PF size, yet play more like 2-guards. Then, you have Craft, Scott, Smith and that foreign PG they added last year. Also, the other Freshman they added.

Are they going to go basically 4 guards (I count wings as guards in that system, which Ross and Thompson are) and put all the pressure on Williams? It can work, if your big guy is a good shot blocker (which he is) and can avoid bad fouls (which he can't).

I am watching currently, but not sure how much I will be able to catch.

Excited to see Troy Williams (IU) since he didnt make the McDonalds game, and obviously Vonleh (IU) and then the top guys. Any chance to see Andrew Wiggins should be taken in.

I'm watching to catch Jabari Parker, but probably won't watch much more of it tonight. I'm more excited for the Nike Hoop Summit.

Impossible to tell, as always in these games, how good anyone is. But Chris Walked will either supplant Patric Young in Florida or push him so much that the Gators will have a leathal frontline.

Been impressed with both Hoosiers. Williams can score and Vonleh is really active.

Joel Emiidd, the Kansas commit, had a couple of nasty shot blocks on Andrew Wiggins. Emiid looks like he might be able to step in and pick up where Jeff Withey left off.

Hope Wiggins decides soon so that we can get a better feel for where the top three or four teams will be next year.

Everyone will focus on Florida's losses, but Murphy, Boynton and Rosario were all 4-year players for a reason.

These guys will put the Gators right back in a strong position. They have gone to three straight Elite Eight's, and not sure they will be better, but will be right there.

People are really going to hate hearing how many times Jabari Parker is referred to as a "Duke kid" next year. Haha. He's got the whole package, though.

I'm totally biased, but Parker in my view is the most polished all-around player in the class. Wiggins is definitely the most explosive player and probably has the higher overall upside -- he very well could end up being a Kevin Durant-like scorer in the League one day -- but Parker is going to really excel in a Shane Battier-like role at Duke next year. Parker is already more naturally gifted than Battier ever was, but he's got the same intangibles, work ethic, shooting ability as a stretch four, and the same tremendous feel for every aspect of the game offensively as Battier had. Parker won't wow the country with 40-point games at Duke, but he will command the games he does play with a sleight of hand that can do everything. I love that. He's also deceptively athletic.

I'd say the same about Andrew Harrison.

This class is volumes above last year though. I mean anyone who watched Shabazz Muhammad or Kyle Anderson compared to the wings in this game?

Look for Parker and Wiggins to really go head-to-head to win this game. Setting up for a good finish here.

Might have the top 6 players drafted. What does NBA Draft Net say? Just watching the MCD and this game, its easy to see the talent. I would take 6-7 guys over anyone in college. All the boarderline guys should leave lol

This is why I am very surprised that James Michael McAdoo is legitimately considering coming back. He would have been a lottery top five pick last year and should have left then. If he waits another year, with the class coming in, he'll be nowhere close to that in 2014.

Of course, if winning in college is what is propelling his decision, then I commend that.

I've not watched much of this HS class but Julius Randle has looked extremely impressive. He will be a load next year.

McAdoo played like 15 MPG last year. From a potential standpoint, yes, he was considered a lottery pick, but he wasn't ready for the NBA. His performance this year while playing more minutes has shown that he wasn't ready. Right now, he has a bulging disc in his back that is probably going to require surgery. He wouldn't be able to be 100% for any pre-draft workouts, and his health is a slight concern to GMs right now, not to mention the fact that he's projected late in the 1st round anyway.

Had he left last year, he would get the money for being a lottery pick, but it's highly doubtful that he would have been successful enough to have staying power in the NBA. Roy informed him last year that he was a lottery pick, but his father and the rest of his family didn't think he was ready to leave. Coming back for next season shouldn't hurt him at all. He'll still be a first round pick, and if he begins to show that he is realizing his potential, he'll go in the lottery.

Call me a homer, but IMO, he's a slightly MORE skilled, slightly LESS defensively capable Terrence Jones.

He's got the chance to be the best offensive player in the country next year. Parker and Wiggins are better overall players (defensively and ball-handling), but if we're talking about pure PPG/RPG impact, it's Randle. Him or Aaron Gordon...

I'd agree with that. If I didn't know any better from the little I've seen I would think he's the top player in this class.

Laley, I agree about Troy.

I know many UK fans (and UNC fans) blasted him after that debacle, and I've many call him vastly overrated. I don't think he's immediate impact, but then again, this class is loaded and he's going to play right away.

I hate to rail on UNC fans, but seriously, how out of place does Kennedy Meeks look in these All Star games?

These All-Star games are completely up-and-down, fast-paced, highlight reel games. Obviously he's not in shape, so that certainly doesn't bode well for him in this type of setting. I thought he made a couple nice plays in the few minutes I watched, but he's just not an "athlete" like most of the guys in this game.

He is gonna have to shed some LBs to be effective in Roys system. Even moreso than Sean May. And he is nowhere near as talented as May was at this point in their lives, so he likely wont get the playing time the way May did.

Yes, I agree. With that said, he doesn't belong in these games. He's not one of the top 25 players. The class is too good. He might be a good player over 2-3 years, but not right away. Wiggins' teammate Dominic Woodson isn't playing in any of the big 3 All Star games.
