Joe Ogilvie out to the early lead with a few others. I played against Joe 3 times in high school....always on his home courses.

He'd shot consistent 30-32's on my home course....so he was decent.

They are 3 of the most popular players on tour. Get over it.

Great putt by Tiger on 15. A little lucky I think by the reaction by Woods.

Tough to play well when your partners are a combined 12 over. Glad tiger is starting well. Major pressure on him after today though. I hope he plays well and runs away from the field.

And despite the time, I bet the ratings were still better when Tiger was playing.

And ESPN/NBC....They. Do. Not. Care. About. You.

Your complaining about it stupid. It isnt even worth arguing. You just sound ridiculous. ESPN/NBC dont care about the US Open. They care about making money.

I knew before entering this thread I was going to see ccrunner in the process of derailing the thread. Where is skyhook to join the party?

Love the US Open being on the west coast. 730 and still plenty of golf to be played.

And some guys are making excellent shots today. Multiple bunker shots gone in as well as the double eagle from Watney.

I have a good bit of $$ invested with his fathers firm. He is pretty active in his hometown. I hope he can make the cut.
Awesome course those cyprus trees I wish I had 5 in my yard.

I hate watching Tiger's every move as well, but it is what it is. I just don't watch when he's playing unless it's with Phil.

Get your "Phil" of it early, because it doesnt look like you will see him after today unless he shoots a crazy low score today.

I don't see the problem. I've been watching golf on Sunday's since the early Greg Norman years when Paul Azinger, Craig Stadler, Fred Couples, Curtis Strange, Fuzzy Zoeller were the bigger names on tour and Nicklaus, Watson, Kite were still around the tour.

I like watching a little of everyone but don't have a problem with the showing of the popular guys on Thurs and Friday, they still show instant replays of other players. There is a ton of coverage and a lot action all-around.

I'm happy anytime they have coverage of Thurs or Fri rounds.

This coverage so far today is awesome.
Im not sure about Zwick so i wont group him with you. But you're just a bonafide Tiger hater lol

A crazy low 1 under? That's crazy... I'm not sure I could handle the craziness if I saw someone go under par.
