Be nice if NBC would show some Golf and quit talking about stupid stuff.

I like Tiger at Doral now. You could see his putting confidence come back. He widened up his stance and putted just gloriously. I am also very happy to have Rory as #1, because I like when the no.1 player has won a major. What a badass start to this season. The Masters could be epic.

I like Luke Donald, I like him a lot. But if you have never won a major, how can you be the "best"??????
This is shaping up to be a great, great year overall for the tour. Tiger looks good, Phil looks good, the young guys are ballin', and it's a Ryder Cup year.

Definitely.The Masters could be epic.
With Rory playing the way he is, Tiger starting to gain form, and Mickelson's hot play of late this definitely should be an awesome Masters.

I hate to be a douche and promote my own work, but I have a golf blog that gets a good amount of hits. I addressed that EXACT issue in a post about a month ago. If you are a golf fan give it a read. I do a lot of interviews with Nationwide and NGA Tour people, because I have some connections there.

Tiger's lowest final round score in his career. Remarkable when he has 71 wins. Though most of his wins are from out front and just solid play. I think the big thing for Tiger is the fact that he led the field in driving distance and was 1st in total driving. He will start to win if he keeps the ball in play like that.Skyhook79;1105220 wrote:What?

When Miller(I hope you die in a fire) said that, I almost fell out of my chair.ohiotiger33;1105223 wrote:Tiger's lowest final round score in his career. Remarkable when he has 71 wins. I got tired of them rooting for Rory to fail. Especially when he hit it in the bunker on 17. The desk started to rise until they saw how nice it was sitting

I totally agree with you guys. I never understood how Luke Donald or Lee Westwood could be #1 when they had never won a major. Glad other people feel the same way.wildcats20;1105150 wrote:THANK YOU.

Also, I have tickets to the Sunday of the Ryder Cup, so I'm very excited to see this great start. Definitely a great year to be a golf fan.

I was at the Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills in 2004. The last day is NUTS. The US was basically out of it mid day and it was still a blast. Very jealous.

Yeah, I put in for a lottery for tickets and ended up having the opportunity to buy 2 tickets to Sunday, so my buddy and I are going. The only other time I've been to a PGA event was the Monday practice day for the 2008 PGA Championship that was actually at Oakland Hills. I was beyond ecstatic when I got the confirmation e-mail as I know some people who went in 2008 and they said it was incredible, so can't wait to go.

Yeah it's definitely a very very cool atmosphere as that event was. I'll admit though Oakland Hills is one of my favorite coursesohiotiger33;1105291 wrote:I was at the Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills in 2004. The last day is NUTS. Rory is -9 through 12 holes right now to get within 1 of the lead. Tiger is charging as well (-4 through 6) to get within 3 of the lead.
Should be a good day of golf as it seems scoring conditions are good.

Boy Keegan Bradley in the final group again. He is really turning into one of the best golfers in the world consistently finishing at the top in a ton of big tournaments. However this is Bubba's tourney as he is just letting it rip off the tee

Tiger quits because of tightness at +3 for the day. OK Tiger whatever you say. LOL best ever...
