It's total bullshit.
Once you address the ball and take a full back swing, that is your shot. More than once today he did that and then just swung over the ball, it should be a stroke.

2 totally different things.Sonofanump;1168679 wrote:I'd look away the whole time, I can not watch Furyk swing either if I'll be swinging my clubs anytime soon.
One is a dude's swing. The other is a dude being a bitch and not being able to hit the ball.

I understand that, but neither would be a good experience to watch if you were his playing partner.wildcats20;1168684 wrote:2 totally different things.

Eh, I don't watch someone else's swing. I just watch the ball.Sonofanump;1168692 wrote:I understand that, but neither would be a good experience to watch if you were his playing partner.

With golf being 50% physical and 83% mental, I don't need those thoughts in my head.wildcats20;1168694 wrote:Eh, I don't watch someone else's swing. I just watch the ball.

Sawgrass greens are shaved down short. They are greenish- brown, and fast in some places like putting on a wood floor yesterday, the 15-20mph wind dried them up.

I don't think Tiger will win, but I think he'll get a top 10. But I also would not be surprised if he won.

Alot of golfers upset with the cell phone noise. Tournament organizers probably need to go back to banning phones on the course.

I was there two years ago and they took your phones at the gate (or they asked and about 2/3 gave up the phones)
Don't be a dick....if you can't go to a professional event and not be a distraction....stay home.
I remember about 20 years ago at Muirfield some dumbass sneezed extremely loud and caused Craig Stadler to miss a short putt on #6....don't be those people.

It is a PGA Tour rule. I personally do not like it at all. All of the majors still have them banned, which is good.se-alum;1186462 wrote:Alot of golfers upset with the cell phone noise. Tournament organizers probably need to go back to banning phones on the course.

Well a sneeze is a little harder to prevent.
Cell phones, if you can't go without them, are easily silenced. People are just idiots.

Yeah I don't get the cell phone thing. Put it on silent if you want to have it.
Then again my phone never leaves vibrate.
