2. Votto started out best, but missed a huge chunk of the season with an injury and didn't have the same numbers (particularly production-wise) when he returned.

Give up a first rounder and sign a guy with a sub-.300 OBP? In a pitcher's park? No thanks. Interesting to see what the terms of the deal are. They already struck out with A) the choice of player and B) the loss of a draft pick. Strike 3 would be overpaying him...which they likely did...

Nothing was inaccurate. I posted the terms of the deal. I posted that they give up a first rounder. I posted that the deal is terrible considering Upton's track record (and age).
