What game was that and what was the reason for it?
Edit: Now see the Blue Jay on the dugout. But second part remains. Why was the beverage thrown?

Id say closer to 10. What an idiot. I dont think he threw it "at" Miller. But the general direction is dumb enough.chicago510;1172524 wrote:WOAH Lawrie might get 5-10 games

Remember when Brandon Phillips wasn't as good as Orlando Hudson?
Hudson was DFA'd by the Padres today.

Lawie gets four games and appeals it. I wonder how many close calls he will be getting at the plate in the future?

I remember when there wasn't any good all-around second baseman so they anointed Hudson the best in the NL.

He should get 4 games. But the umpire should get a month off without pay as well. This assclown missed back to back pitches which were at least 9 inches off the strike zone. It's time for the commish to hold these incompetants responsible for their horrible eyesite.Sonofanump;1174841 wrote:Lawie gets four games and appeals it. Strikes out the only batter he faces and leaves with hugs and hand pounds for all.

I'm a Sox fan, but that was pretty cool. What a way to go out, even if we all still wonder what could have been.

Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball when he is on. And he is on a lot. I try to be surprised when he's no hitting a team, but I'm just not anymore. He's very Nolan Ryanish.
On the flip side of that.....he's no hitting the Pirates.

Following 100 mph fastballs with 82 mph curves in the 8th isn't right.
