The NHL teams don't have the longevity to match up.
Part of it is that, for a long time, only four baseball teams made the playoffs and they were in a division with the Mets (before they became a clownish failure organization) and Braves. The strike possibly took one playoff appearance away from them, because they were leading when the season was called.

Hell, if baseball's playoffs were run like the NBA's and NHL's, the Pirates would have made it a couple times since '92...

I voted Browns because I know Cleveland fans are around these parts.

I'd agree with Clippers are up there. As far as your Playoff appearances point, you have to remember it is a lot easier to make the playoffs in the NBA than MLB.

Also, the Blue Jackets are really really bad... but they haven't been as bad as long as some of the other franchises.

It is really pretty amazing that the Clippers only have seven playoff appearances when from 1984-1994 you had at least a 59% chance of making it (16 of 23 from 1984-1987, 16 of 25 in 1988, and 16 of 27 from 1989-1994). That's a decade where based on averages more than 60% of the teams playing made it into the postseason.

Expos/Nats are probably the worst with the BlueJackets right up there

Piss off with your rational and legitimately correct answers. There's no place for that here.
