I liked the Sketchers one with Cuban. Thought it was good.

I agree most of the commercials sucked this year.

Yep. Didn't realize how fat Broderick has gotten.

I thought it would have been better if they would have ended it with him walking up the restraurant and asking for a table for Abe Froman, Sausage King of Chicago.

Stole this idea from somewhere else, but the Seinfeld NSX commercial would have been much better if it was Newman instead of Leno at the end.

It was definitely a weak year. Doritos had a couple of good commercials, The M&M's spot was pretty good, and couple of the car commercials were good. The beer commercials were off this year. Bud Light spent most of their air time pushing the Platinum product which is fine but they usually have some of the better commercials.

Yeah but Newman isn't a car guy... Leno was the obvious choice with NBC ties and being a car nut. I saw that coming a mile away. I thought Leno was going to the be the guy that was getting the first NSX in the beginning of the commmercial.

I thought it would have been better if the stuff he was trying to give the guys wasn't so lame. The soup nazi was the only good one. He should have offered a "bro" or "manzeere" or perhaps an Armoire.</SPAN>

Or Seinfeld could have challenged him to a "contest" for the car.

Didn't know that Jay Leno was Jerry Seinfeld's nemesis and that it was an NBC commercial.

Liked Weego the dog, etrade baby is always funny (and future ones will be good now he has a sister, I'm sure) and thought the Mr. Sandman was kinda funny. Favorite by far (and I can't believe none of you homo's mentioned this yet) Mr. Beckham in his undies. Loved it.

I liked the Samsung commercial strictly because it has "I Believe in a thing called love" by The Darkness in it. Overall, I thought the commercials sucked. I also liked the Dorito's dog, the Bud Light Wee-go commercial, and the Sketchers commercial.

The extended version of the Ferris Bueller commercial is 1000x better than the one that actually aired during the game.

Agreed. My Dad who works for Honda kept talking about this b/c they showed it nonstop at the Marysville plant. After the commercial he was like, "That's not the whole god damn thing!" lol

Supposedly that Ferris Bueler commercial was used to guage interest in a possible sequel?

Either way, from the commercials I saw I'd probably say the M&M commercial was the best.

I thought this commercial was stupid. The Apple digs are kinda funny but "OMG a phone with a stylus! What revolutionary technology!". Pretty sure the stylus died out in like 03.
