I said you should compose a brief letter rejecting their $10 gift card and say you are disappointed in the way Tumbleweed has handled your situation. Make sure to include the $10 gift card in the envelope.

If you choose not to follow my advice, you have already lost.

Good day.

That is def my next step. I was just waiting to see if they will do anything to make this good. If they dont get to me by the end of the day today it will be escalated.

By this point, I'd probably just give the gift card away and never bother to go to this chain again. Why do you want more from a business that's screwed you multiple times?

well I actually liked my steak. plus....a free OK meal is better than paying for a great meal in my book. What would be the chances of having another crappy meal? there was something seriously wrong with that food...it wasnt just how that place makes a certain dish. I am thinking if they make this good, we go back and have a good meal, then they get my business again in the future.

If not.......i gues I will just keep trashing them.

Still ignoring me.

What should I put in the letter when I send it back?

Just the giftcard and a letter explaining your disappointment. Nothing less, nothing more.

I posted on their FB page a few days ago and got ignored, and then a few minutes ago once again I commented on how I was getting ignored. I got a personal call from the regional director and they are going to make it good with a 50 dollar card....plus the 10 dollar one I already got!

So...they stepped up and made it right. I guess it pays to be a jerk!

I have an idea. Eat a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, wash out the jars, and save 365 of them. Every morning hunch over one of the jars and push your brown into it, screw on the cap, and write the date on the side. Once you get a year's worth saved up on the shelf put them in the trunk of you car, drive into a circus tent and run head-on into the clown car. Right before you hit it, blow the C4 in your back seat so feces and body parts cover thousands of people.

Since I took the time to bash, I must give them praise.
With the 60 bucks in gift cards we went back to the same place. Sat in the exact same table actually. Diff waitress, but same manager.
this time they redeemed themselves. The food was excellent, the people were very nice and it was a blast.

So...they won me back. Not many places actually make a rare steak actually rare like i prefer...but they sure did.

I drove by a Tumbleweed last week, but ate at the Longhorn next door instead.

I did not take it as an insult. I was merely correcting your false statement.
