I'll make a prediction and say Rampage wins by KO in the 3rd round. After he knocks Rashad out cold, I hope he walks over and continues to pummel him in the face, repeatedly.

Although ripped...Rampage looks like a shell of his former self. Looks A LOT smaller

Agreed. Rashad looks like the bigger fighter, even muscle wise. I could tell on the Primetime special that Rashad has been putting on some serious muscle.

This is a very close fight to call IMO. I want Rampage but think Rashad will win.

Such a let down, even if Rampage won it would of been a let down IMO. Rashad pretty much ran awy the entire fight. Unless they were against the fence

Great card all around. Brilz gets robbed, Forrest would've beaten Noguiera rather handily IMO. Mike Russow has a crazy chin and surprising power. Todd Duffee needs to work his cardio. Diego Sanchez should head back to lightweight....right now. Dan Miller can take some shots. Rashad executed a perfect Jackson-esque gameplan. It's called mixed martial arts for a reason. If Rampage didn't want to be held against the cage he should have done more to prevent it. Rashad has lost one fight his whole career. 20-1-1 is pretty damned good. People know what Greg Jackson's fighters will do, and yet they still dont try to defend against it.

Rashad did a great job of mixing things up and keeping rampage guessing. besides the flurry that rampage had in the 3rd, he did absoltuely nothing...i was very disappointed in the way rampage fought, he looked very bad.

And i'm sure you said Rampage was going to kill Rashad and i'm sure you said Machida was going to kill Shogun...your just another guy that hates Rashad and predicts his fights based on that.

Rampage was going to destroy Evans too. So rashad did what he needed to do to secure another title shot. Rampage was supposed to be as good at wrestling as Rashad, where was it? Wall n Stall, Lay n pray, call it what you want. Greg Jackson gameplans for his fighters to win. Not entertain people.

Rashad executed his gameplan perfectly. Everyone wants to call him a pussy because he wouldn't really stand up with Rampage, but do you blame him? He got two takedowns and only got really hit by rampage in the third when he went down for a minute, but he recovered and eventually took Rampage down again. IMO (and apparently in the judges' opinion) Rashad dominated that fight, expect for that moment in the third round. Whenever Rampage started swinging, Rashad closed the distance between the two and got into a clinch. Rampage isn't as effective in a clinch as he is when he has his entire reach to throw a punch. I'll give a lot of props to Rashad because even though it wasn't the fight that the fans wanted or expected to see, he did what was needed to beat Rampage. Now, let's see what Rashad can do against Shogun.

Exactly, Rashad fought smart and knew he would win if he fought the way he did. why the hell would Rashad stand and bang with Rampage???? Call it pussy but he fought smart and Rampage is completely one-dimensional.

Just like Dan Miller was going to be the first to submit Michael Bisping? Fighters play mind games. It obviously got into Rampages head, as he didn't train much of his takedown defense and just tried standing the whole time. Rashad tried finishing on the ground (which is another way to put him to sleep) but couldnt.

So now fighters give their gameplans away in trash talk??? If you thought Rashad was just going to stand and throw you are stupid, he executed his gameplan perfectly and controlled the whole fight.

Thats like me telling my cornerman that in my next fight I am going to go out and stand up with the guy and bang. I want the experience but if he shows he has faster hands, or stronger hands, would I not be smarter to take the fight to the ground? Where I have spent over 15 years of my life training. It's about winning fights, I hate when fighters feel they need to prove points. IE grapplers standing and banging and getting KTFOed. You fight to win. End of story.
