I haven't gone looking for any updates on CB, but from the sound that made and his reaction he had to have a broken rib. That kick sounded like a baseball bat to the ribs, it was that loud of a crack.

I like it, gimme Rampage vs Maldonado, Jimi Manuwa, Lil Nog and Shogun. All great action packed fights.

D. Cruz tears his ACL again. Probably out for life this time.

He's only 29 too. We'll see if he's able to come back, but if i were him I'd call it a career and focus on broadcasting.

That will be 4 years lost in his 20's and his prime. Imagine the money he has lost out on because of injury.

Yeah, gotta be in the 7 figures. But i think as long as he doesn't fuck up, the broadcasting gig will be there and be a substantial and steady income. I'm sure he'll be fine money wise, but he definitely missed some big pay days.

Jones vs Cormier this weekend, does it get any bigger than this? Biggest fight in quite a while, love grudge matches.

I'm going to disagree. This is the type of opponent I think is perfect to beat Jones. Definitely can counter Jones's wrestling, small and compact if he can make Jones's reach obsolete or minimize the reach advantage Cormier will power through him.

I give Cormier a chance just based on things I've heard other fighters say about him. People have said they have never felt anyone as strong as him before in the octagon. Either way I'm excited for this fiht and this card as a whole.

I honestly have no idea what is going to happen, Cormier is a monster and rag dolls guys, but will he be able to get in range to do so? Very interesting fight.

It's the ACL in his other knee, not the one he had problems with before. I would try one last time to come back. Frank Gore has played 10+ years in the NFL after tearing both of his ACL's, so it can happen.

Cormier's speed and strength are the key to this fight. If his cardio holds up over five rounds I think he wins.

Jones loves to stay on the outside and pepper you with kicks, and that will get him taken down in this fight. It will be very interesting for sure.

i don't think Jones goes the entire fight without getting tagged, and DC hits like a truck. He can 1 punch KO heavy weights, he can do it to Jones. I think as long as the moment doesn't get to him, he can win. I give him a better shot than Gus.

This is the kind of five day span where my credit card company calls me to make sure everything is on the up and up. Multiple transactions at local bars, a weird gambling website, and god knows what else. Should be fun.
