Woodley will gas after one round, don't see that being competitive at all. Winner of Lawler and Brown will definitely get a title shot, Lawler was in discussion of getting a rematch after beating down Ellenberger.Raw Dawgin' it;1620197 wrote:I don't think Lawler beating Brown means title shot, but i think Brown beating Lawler is 1000% title shot worthy.
I want to see Woodly get a shot at Hendricks.

Almost all of those guys are still on the roster and have had success in the octagon.Scarlet_Buckeye;1620235 wrote:Dillashaw and Dodson are the only two names I'm familiar with.

I watched that whole season, and here are the names I 'know' immediately either from that season or what they have done since.
Dillashaw, Ferguson, Brandao, Dodson, Pague, Bermudez, Caraway (but honestly know his name more from the season he helped coach with Tate), and Siler.

I remember Bedford. He was a "tough guy" if memory serves me right.

You should know Akira Corassani as well. He is 3-1 in the UFC since TUF with his only loss being a fight of the night winner against Dustin Poirer.

Gaudinot (dude with the green hair) is 2-2 in the UFC as well.

Brimage is also 3-1 in the UFC with his only loss being to Connor McGregor. Most of the guys have stuck around in the UFC and are Atleast .500 or better.
From that season there's going to be a lot of guys who have long term success. There's also going to be guys who could be stars like Dillashaw, Dobson, Bermudez and Brandao.
I would say say that's pretty good.

I think the winner of Rory vs Woodly gets the next title shot as long as it's a good fight and Rory doesn't win by back pedaling again. After that I think the winner of Lawyer vs Brown will be able to wait for the next title shot if they choose to. Dana loves Lawler so I could see Dana letting him get another chance at the title so quickly.

That season had a better chance of success in the UFC also because they were being absorbed in to very new and shallow weight classes. Either way, it was a good season for talent.

Kind of like the first season that had girls on it and the next season that will introduce the girls straw weight division (115lb). The girls on that TUF will pretty much be the whole division at the beginning.Zoltan;1620383 wrote:That season had a better chance of success in the UFC also because they were being absorbed in to very new and shallow weight classes. 115 lbs? I barely care about the 135 lbs women's division.

Wanderlei Silva out of UFC 175 fight with Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort steps in. Chael Sonnen will yet AGAIN be in a number one contender fight.

He wrestled at Woodmore. Silva out vs Sonnen and Belfort in wow! Sonnen gets KO'd but will be interesting to see Belfort not on TRT!bigdaddy2003;1620342 wrote:I remember Bedford. He was a "tough guy" if memory serves me right.

Chael has gotten smashed in 3 of his last 4 fights and gets a number one contender fight? I don't get it but whatever. Chael has always wanted this fight, be careful what you wish for.Fab1b;1620448 wrote:He wrestled at Woodmore. Silva out vs Sonnen and Belfort in wow! I'd assume he would fair better than he did against Jones and Silva, but don't get the #1 contender logic either.

Get smashed in 3 of your last 4, get a number one contender fight at MW when you haven't won there in 2.5 years.Pick6;1620456 wrote:I'd assume he would fair better than he did against Jones and Silva, but don't get the #1 contender logic either.

what's ridiculous is the fight is at 205 for a 185 title shotrobj55;1620462 wrote:Get smashed in 3 of your last 4, get a number one contender fight at MW when you haven't won there in 2.5 years.

I can actually understand that since it's only 5 weeks out from the fight for weight cutting purposes, but Dana and the UFC's love of Chael is unreal. He gets more opportunities than anyone and big money fights. Jacare or Tim Kennedy could have gotten that number one fight with Vitor and Chael could have fought some other 205'er.Raw Dawgin' it;1620659 wrote:what's ridiculous is the fight is at 205 for a 185 title shot

Vitor probably said he would only step in if the fight was at 205, and those guys don't fight at that weight. Kennedy would not fight Vitor at 205 for sure, but maybe Rockhold would.robj55;1620684 wrote:I can actually understand that since it's only 5 weeks out from the fight for weight cutting purposes, but Dana and the UFC's love of Chael is unreal.
