worth throwing a little cash at with those odds.

Yep, I mean I understand that he should be the underdog, but those odds are ridiculous. Seeing a lot of talk about how Cormier is going to KO Hendo and blah blah blah. Cormier barely did any damage to Mir and Big Country. Hendo is still incredibly durable and always one strike away from winning.

Should be a great fight. I think Machida wins.

175 is friggen stacked.

Yeah 175 is definitely a super show, BJ Penn vs Frankie Edgar is the next night as well.

Was a terrible decision. There should be no way a guy can win "sudden death" after losing a point.
HOWEVER... with that being sad, I'm glad Zapatta won the fight. The other guy didn't do a helluva whole lot, other than holding tight to Zapatta for the entire fight. No one wants to watch/see that. While I didn't care too much for Zapatta, he was right... he was trying to throw punches and trying to do damage. The other guy was just being a bitch.

I didn't think the judges did a horrible job. What was a horrible about it was the process they used to determine a winner since it was sudden death. I liked the judges giving Zapatta one of the first two round because he did more damage. The third round where Zapatta lost the point was probably the most controversial because after he lost the point the other guy took him down and controlled him without doing any real damage for the last 2 minutes but Zapatta still did more damage. The two judges scored that round 9-9 and the other 10-8. Again I have no problem with that scoring ( I would have leaned 10-8). Now here's the thing since it was sudden winner they have to choose a winner. I'm guessing the rule is they circle the fighter they think won the fight instead of using the 10-8 as the decider. When this happened my only problem was the judge who went 10-8 the last round still circled Zappatta but I don't see anything wrong with the two judges who had the last round 9-9 circling Zappatta.

It was was the format used to determine the winner that was flawed not the judges themselves unless they were the ones who decided the procedure for choosing a winner on the fly.

Should be a tremendous card tonight, a lot of fun match ups. Can Hendo turn back the clock again? Lawler and Ellenberger is the fight I'm most looking forward to. Anyone think Dillashaw has a chance to beat Barao?

Yeah I think he needs to keep the pressure on the whole time and make Barao go backwards, not reckless though.

Settled in for what I think will be a great card. Going with Varner, Rivera, Ellenberger in the upset, Cormier, Barao.

Hate to say it but Ellenberger is a bit of a frontrunner, he gets hit hard and shells up, looks for a way out. When he is the hammer he is very good.

barao looked off, but Dillashaws footwork and feints were the difference, Barao was on the defensive all night. Goes to show how hard it is to win fight in fight out in mma, anything can happen.
