Pettis being the champ sucks. He's always hurt.

Yeah it's too bad becuse he's really good, he's out for what, 8 months? He's been injured a ton since he came to the UFC.

Yeah it's ridiculous. I feel bad for the guys who lose out on title shots. I think Thompson gets smothered by Hendo where as I think it would've been a fun stand up fights with Pettis.

Thomson can wrestle too and is probably a better striker than Bendo, pretty even fight imo. Toss up for me although Ben's pace might get him the nod.

Yeah Pettis is out 6-8 months and when he returns he asked for Diaz.

TJ Grant and Thompson (if he wins) are a head of him. I would love to see Guillard get a crack at Pettis, that would be a great fight.

Melvin will never get up high enough, too inconsistent and loses a ton of fights he probably shouldn't. If Nate could fight and beat TJ when he comes back maybe he has a case. I wanna see him get revenge on Thomson, I know he can beat him. The fight I really wanna see is him and Diego just for fun, would be crazy.

The Diaz/Thompson fight was pretty even from what I remember, except Nate was just not seeing his high kicks. Everyone Thompson threw seemed to land or just miss.

I think the speed of Pettis would be too much for Diaz, like the speed of Bendo was. Diaz vs. Diego would be awesome.

Even? Didn't Thompson knock diaz out?

He did knock him out, I'm just saying I remember it as a pretty even fight with the exception of the right head kicks Thompson landed. He landed one or two in the first, and then another in the second that led to the finish. All of them looked like Nate didn't even see them coming, it was weird. If he can make an adjustment to those, it would be anyone's fight. It's not like he was totally out struck or physically dominated.

Now I understand you could say that about lots of MMA fights that end in a knockout, I just think Diaz would have a decent chance in the rematch with Thompson. For example, I think he stands less of a chance of beating Benson in a rematch.

Nate was outlanding him up until that kick landed and he even took Thomson down. He was tko'd but he hopped right up, thought it was a just stoppage though.

I think it looked worse than what it was, he literally popped back to his feet as soon as the ref stopped it. I have no problem with the stoppage though as he was certainly hurt.

MY lord the carnage, one of the most devastating one punch KO's I can remember. That right there is prime example why the lead uppercut is dangerous to throw.

All time classic and maybe the most fun fight I've ever seen in any combat sport.

I had Hunt winning but I'm not really upset at all. Great fight. Love seeing Shogun happy again too.

That might have been the best HW fight I've ever seen. Hunt is one of the baddest men on the planet.

Did they release the judges scoring of each round? Did each guy get a 10-8 round? Not sure how they got 47-47.
