My guess would've been rich franklin and his tight pink shorts lol kidding kidding.

Him and Hendricks are two guys I don't mind paying money to see and they're also pretty likeable. I like watching Silva and Jones, but I think their douche bags.

Haha reps. Franklin's a bit old for me though I do like watching him fight.

Edit: I have to spread the reps around first it seems. Someone halp?

Wouldn't surprise me, Kampmann is an incredibly slow starter, he gets hit a ton early in fights. I think Kampmann is very underrated though and if he mixes up takedowns with his crisp striking he could beat Condit again. Important fight for both guys.

Gotcha on the Reps.

Franklin was a favorite of mine back in the day. I'm really digging Hendricks now and looking forward to him fighting GSP.

I'm assuming Condit has worked on his wrestling a bit more than usual after the last two fights. It'll be interesting to see the amount of improvement he shows. A Condit who very rarely gets taken down would be an even more dangerous fight for most guys.

He almost finished GSP, I think he finishes Kampmann.

I think Hendricks tags him and puts him to sleep.

Hendricks is most definitely the worst matchup for GSP, a huge power striker and is the best wrestler, especially defensive wrestler, GSP has ever wrestled.

Hughes wasn't close to the wrestler Hendricks is, and as much fanfare as Koshcheck had with him being a 4 time all american and NCAA champion...Hendricks has better college wrestling credentials. Henricks was also a 4 time all american but was a 2 time champion.

Koshceck finished 4th, 2nd, 1st, and 3rd his four years in college.

Hendricks finished 5th, 1st, 1st, and 2nd.

That doesn't seem like a huge deal, but if you ever watched the 2 wrestle you know that Koshcheck was an agressive wrestler (mostly being on offense) while Hendricks was a defensive wrestler.

I heard he worked with the olympic team for this fight. He needed too because he didn't stop one takedown against GSP and Hendricks.

Condit lost to the top two 170 pounders in the world and was inches away from winning the belt, I don't see Kampmann winning this unless Condit has an off night. Also, i really want Cerrone to get a title shot so I hope he runs through Dos Anjos.

As for 164, I think the main card is amazing, really looking forward to the Koch v. Poirier fight. Really hope Pettis wins, not a Bendo fan.

Damn Condit looked great. He would have had the finish in the 3rd I'm pretty sure if the blood didn't make the submission attempt slip out twice.

Kampmann gassed himself out in the first spamming takedowns, props to Condit for piecing him up. Why couldn't he have fought Nick like that? would have been unreal

Because Nick is a different fighter? Nick throws silly amounts of punches so it's hard to get combinations going. To beat Nick you really need to either do what Condit or GSP did and Condit doesn't have the wrestling to do what GSP did.

No I agree I just had such high hopes for that fight, could have been one of the most back and forth fights in MMA history.

Great fight to end the night. Condit after a slow start really changed the fight late in the 2nd then just poured it on. Kampmann gassing then the cut sealed his fate!

I too think Hendricks will be too much for GSP. He will be the toughest wrestler he has had to face and that right hand is a sledgehammer!

I think people are overestimating the importance of Hendricks' wrestling. GSP is an excellent wrestler and at least good enough to not get taken down and the problem with Hendricks is he has two weapons, his left hand and his wrestling. He doesn't have a notable submissions game, doesn't have excellent footwork, doesn't have powerful or unique kicks. He's kind of like Hendo in that regard. What I'm getting at is he's relatively easy to draw a gameplan for and that's something that GSP is very good at doing and then enacting.
