Kampmann is warrior too man, he was completely gassed and eating shots but wouldn't go down.

Similar to Koscheck, could be a GSP jab fest mixed with reactive takedowns. Hendricks likes to load up on his punches, which is when GSP will shoot. We will find out a lot about Hendricks cardio in the fight I think.I Wear Pants;1492849 wrote:I think people are overestimating the importance of Hendricks' wrestling. GSP is an excellent wrestler and at least good enough to not get taken down and the problem with Hendricks is he has two weapons, his left hand and his wrestling. He doesn't have a notable submissions game, doesn't have excellent footwork, doesn't have powerful or unique kicks. He's kind of like Hendo in that regard. What I'm getting at is he's relatively easy to draw a gameplan for and that's something that GSP is very good at doing and then enacting.

Give Brown someone higher ranked before you give him Condit. Condit's #2 and just beat #6 and you want him to go to #10?robj55;1492848 wrote:Condit vs Matt Brown next would be violent
But that could definitely be a sweet fight. Though can Brown go 5 rounds?

#6 to #2 isn't that much of a jump. It happens all the time because 345 are booked already for a fight. It's not like he hasn't beat a top 10 guy then directly fights #2. BTW these rankings are dumb

Pretty good card last night. And to echo the sentiments I can't ever forgive Codit for throwing spinning shit in the Diaz fight lol

No, Brown is just newly in the top-10 at #10. Kampmann was #6. So Brown would be jumping into the top-10 rankings and then getting a jump all the way to the #2 guy.sportchampps;1492955 wrote:#6 to #2 isn't that much of a jump. But hell, it could very well be a sweet fight so maybe I'm being dumb.

Yeah, beating the piss out of Diaz wasn't good enough....robj55;1492828 wrote:Kampmann gassed himself out in the first spamming takedowns, props to Condit for piecing him up. Why couldn't he have fought Nick like that? would have been unreal

Compustrike agrees with me, so you must be a Diaz nuthugger.robj55;1493345 wrote:You have to be trolling.

No I'm disagreeing that he beat the piss out of him, he did almost no damage and squeked out a decision win. What Condit did to Kampmann last night was beating the piss out of someone lol That's all I was disputing.jmog;1493389 wrote:Compustrike agrees with me, so you must be a Diaz nuthugger.

Vitor vs Hendo on free TV in Brazil. I don't understand why UFC doesn't force Vitor to fight in the states. Hope Hendo puts him to sleep.

Apparently it's more Globo entertainment, Dana said next to Fox, they're their biggest media outlet. Dana basically said "whoever Globo wants on a fight, we give them." WOuldn't be shocked if they had a deal with Vitor which means he can juice all he wants and probably won't have to fight in the US anymore.jmog;1493481 wrote:Testosterone levels.

That was in the WEC before it merged into the UFC but yes that is one of the best highlights in all of mixed martial arts. He also threw a knee off the cage against Cowboy Cerrone which was sick as well.Gblock;1493504 wrote:i know im way behind on this but i just saw the replay of henderson getting kicked in the face off the fence..wow that has to be the best highlight all time in ufc

Dana White has to get serious about PEDs before we have an epidemic like baseball. He has been pretty much against anything that would actually help the sport get rid of PEDS. Sure he has the athletic commission testing but fighters know when those tests are. He spoke poorly of fighters agreeing to outside testing before fights because he was afraid one would test postive and he would lose a fight. He said he is to busy and ignored the most recent scandal in Florida where it was known MMA fighters were involved. He lets Vitor fight pretty much only in Brazil these days. I really hope Dana gets it together or someone else steps in and makes the UFC wake up to the problem in their sport.

The thing is that no one knows how big the problem is. They are tested by the government but is it easy to get around that? The guys that are on trt are supposedly being tested during their camps. Drug testing in the UFC actually seems much better than the other sports, could always be better though.sportchampps;1493702 wrote:Dana White has to get serious about PEDs before we have an epidemic like baseball. Hell Yeah! Great arm bar by Pettis. I hope we get a true super fight Pettis vs Aldo it would be explosive.
Barnett and Mendes also looked great. Not sure where Barnett goes from here or who his next fight will be against. Maybe Werdum or Travis Browne. Not sure what you do with Mendes either because I don't think he's ready for a rematch with Aldo yet maybe TJ Grant.

Grant fights at 155 and will probably get a title shot vs. Pettis when healthy. Mendes has like four 1st round knockouts in a row, he's as ready as he ever will be for a title shot.sportchampps;1494144 wrote:Hell Yeah! Great arm bar by Pettis.
