How in the world will Forrest keep it standing? He will need to for sure.robj55;1299225 wrote:Forrest will now meet Phil Davis at UFC 155, I like the match up.
I can't see it happening even though it would be a huge ppv. I think GSP/Silva is much more likely which I've wanted to see for years.Enforcer;1299236 wrote:Also saw today that Silva is open to fighting Jones at a catch weight

Yeah they said the fight with GSP would happen first as long as He beats Conditbigdaddy2003;1299320 wrote:How in the world will Forrest keep it standing? He will need to for sure.

I think Phil's mma wrestling is overrated due to his inability to set it up with strikes. He has struggled to take a lot of people down. Forrest has an underrated ground game, should be a good fight I think.

Yeah, semi retired. Phil will be the fav but it wouldn't surprise me to see Forrest pull of a W if he comes in motivated, we know he works his ass off in the gym and will be in shape. Depends on where his head is at.sportchampps;1299476 wrote:Forrest has looked pretty uninterested as of late

Yeah. I think I've watched two episodes so far this year. Doesn't help that by running it so regularly, you're bound to have uninteresting fights between the coaches occasionally. I mean, Carwin vs. Big Country, IMO, wouldn't even be a good headliner for a free card (what's Nelson done, other than be a personality, to deserve that kind of respect?).robj55;1299226 wrote:This had to be done, it's too much to ask mma fans to stay home friday nights to watch this and saturdays when there are cards.
And you get the same personalities every year in the house, so one season kinda blends into the next unless you have someone who's out-of-control nuts like Junie Browning. From what I saw this year, you have a couple serious (ie: not good TV) "I WILL win and get into the UFC to feed my family" guys, a couple jokesters, a complete bitch (red mohawk dude this year) and a few guys who are pretty bland except for that one "lose their shit" moment that gets played up to be worse than it is because it was the only interesting thing that happened in the house for a certain time period.

the show needs to die off. Season one at least had them compete is challenges. Screw team format, it should be survivor style. Have a challenge, people who come in last fight.Heretic;1304248 wrote:Yeah. I think I've watched two episodes so far this year. Yeah, it says a lot when the only episodes that are remotely entertaining are the ones with two fights, because at least you don't get to watch the 500th version of "View the Dumbasses in Home Life". Since you just basically get this over and over and over again.Raw Dawgin' it;1304253 wrote:the show needs to die off. Season one at least had them compete is challenges. 1. I have a girlfriend and small child that may be being born while I'm here and I'm miserable but doing it for them! When I lose (and I will), There. Will. Be. Tears. (even though, by virtue of making the house, as long as I didn't piss Dana off, I'll still get a multi-fight deal).
2. I am a social retard who flips out at everything. I also lose in either the first or second round. Depending on if my first round opponent has ability.
3. I'm Kimbo Slice. People have heard of me. Even though I suck, every single show-ending promo for next week will hint that I may be allowed to resume the competition, because no one's watching to see those other guys. That barely discolored black eye one of my housemates has? For all you know, it's a flesh-eating bacteria and I'll be replacing him! TUNE IN FUCKERS!!!!
4. I'm the serious guy that's in it to win it. No pranks or anything resembling personality from this intense, joyless robot! Be surprised if I'm still in it by the semifinals. Sure, I'm the best guy in the house, but you've only seen me in the ring and in the background because I never do anything camera-worthy, so you've probably forgotten I exist.

I believe the red mowhawk dude is from Ohio. Some of the guys are annoying. Lose a fight, complain about it, stay in the house and fuck with people's food/beds. Dumb.Heretic;1304248 wrote:Yeah. Yeah the dude from Ohio is the worst person on this season. First his fight to get in the house was shitty. Then he gets to pick who he wants to fight and still loses. Now he just fucks with people while whining about being poor back home.

WTF is wrong with the judges on TUF this season. Last nights fight the judging was one of the worst I have ever seen. I really think they may have mixed the fighters names up.

Well, to make this week's edition of the show more thrilling, the preview has red-mohawk throwing more in-house tantrums. That's kind of where the show falters -- in their attempt to balance "interesting" on-TV highlights while still appearing like legit competition, guys like this are encouraged to a degree. For pure legit-ness, it'd go like this: you were eliminated, you're acting like an ass in-house, have a fun trip home kid.sportchampps;1304631 wrote:Yeah the dude from Ohio is the worst person on this season.
