If 156 has Aldo-Edgar, Machida-Hendo and Rashad-lil Nog then it is a must buy no doubt.

I know you're a machida fan, but I really want to see Hendo put him to sleep. I'd rather see Hendo, Glover, and Gus get shots at the title than see Shogun and Machida get rematches. I think the Gus/Shogun winner should have to fight Rashad next. Hell, if Machida wins I think he should have to fight Rashad again before getting a shot at Jones, only because I don't see anyone outside of Jones beating Rashad.

I'm a Hendo fan too, don't see him catching Machida but that's why they fight. I'd like to see those guys get shots too, although realistically I think Lyoto is the only guy at 205 who can possibly beat Jones. I don't see how Rashad could beat Lyoto. A lot of people say if he uses his wrestling but Lyoto has never been beat through wrestling, you have to outstrike him and Rashad can't do that.

Shogun put him lights out, so i think Dan definitely could. I don't see anyone in 205 beating Jones, but i think Rashad is the best lhw not names Jon Jones. Not laying he'd beat Machida 10/10 but I think if they fought again he'd win. I know Machida is very quick but I think Rashad would get him to the ground and GnP him.

I'd love to see Daniel Cormier and Pat Barry drop to 205. I think DC would be a great match up for Jones. And I think Pat Barry vs any LHW would be fun.

Shogun caught Lyoto with a counter punch that was set up with a fake leg kick, Dan is not that highly technical and advanced in his approach to do something similar. Not saying he can't win but his brawling style plays right into the hands of Lyoto. I think Lyoto beats Rashad every time, maybe not as devastating as the first time but he has a massive gap to close to take Lyoto down, who already has some of the best take down defense in MMA. I think Cormier could give Jones a run for his money because of his wrestling, but I don't see him making 205. I think I heard the last time he tried to make 205 his kidneys shut down. I think we could see that fight at HW though once Jones moves there.

Would love to see the fight if Rashad and Machida both win - but I'd rather see Hendo get a shot at the belt. I know he won't win but I think he deserves a shot.

I'd like to see Hendo and Jones too, Hendo would walk forward and throw bombs, like Rampage should have. Unfortunately it would last long because Jones would take him down and start dropping elbows. Hendo is 42 and may not get another shot if he can't beat Machida.

Agreed - love his approach with that right hand. Everyone knows it's coming, but they still get tagged ha.

Also - what do you think about Silva saying he's not fighting until end of next year? Bisping is already tweeting his fight with Vitor should be for the interim belt.

I don't buy him sitting out, I mean he doesn't need the money but I really think he wants that GSP fight. I mean, there is a reason that he is going to be sitting cageside this weekend at 154 in Montreal. I think there is a real possibility that we see that fight early in the spring next year. I think 2013 is going to be abig year, a lot of guys coming off suspension and injury.

Anyone see the Anthony Perosh injury that has forced him out of his next fight vs Joey Beltran? Warning, pretty graphic:

Antonio Silva vs The Reem at 156. That card is fucking stacked!

I like Rashad, but come on...did Rashad even land a strike against Machida last time before getting KTFO?

In interviews he admitted to taking the fight lightly and not using his wrestling. Machida lost to Rampage, in case anyone has forgotten.

Machida lost a controversial decision in which the most significant thing Rampage landed the entire fight were foot stomps. Machida was tentative and coming off his first KO loss but he still won that fight imo. First round he won with leg kicks and third round he rocked Rampage, took him down and mounted him and nearly arm barred him. Had he opened up earlier he probably would have finished him. Rashad wasn't impressive against Rampage at all, he nearly got finished in that fight.

So up to that point Machida had beat Nakamura, Sokoudjou, and Ortiz (all good fighters at that time) and they were fighting FOR THE TITLE, but we are to believe Evans took him lightly?

Evans is one of two things
1. A liar
2. A retard

I don't think he is that stupid, so I believe he lied to make himself feel better about getting humiliated in that fight.

Oh, and about Rampage, that decision was about as bad as the first Machida/Rua decision. Rua kicked the snot out of Machida in the first fight and lost the decision. Machida kicked the snot out of Rampage (except for the 2nd rd) and lost the decision.

I'd really like to see them fight again though, just curious how it would turn out this time. I am stoked for him and Hendo though.

What are your thoughts on Kampmann and Hendricks? I'd be happy with whoever won, I like both guys. I think Hendricks will tag him, but I don't think he'll be able to finish Kampmann. I think Kampmann wins this one.

Lyoto had also just came off a one round destruction of Thiago Silva. People think that Rashad would automatically be able to take Lyoto down and win through ground and pound. Lyotos distance is a foot farther than anyone elses due to his karate style and his balance and take down defense is incredible, he was a sumo champion in brazil when he was younger. Who has ever been able to take Lyoto down and keep him there? No one.

I know that Rashad wants to avenge that loss so it's possible that we see it some time. As for the Kampmann-Hendricks fight, Martin Kampmann is a warrior and a survivor, but he is a really slow starter usually who gets hit a ton. Hendricks has a tremendous amount of power, if Kampmann can survive an early barrage I think technically he is a better fighter and will win, hard fight to predict imo.

Correct, I had forgot about Thiago Silva, I was going off memory.

Rashad was making an excuse to make himself feel better. There is no way he is that stupid to have taken Machida "lightly" after Machida's background and the fact that it was a title fight.

I want to see Evans/Machida again as well, I just don't buy the BS that he took him lightly.

I love the Hendricks/Kampann fight, highly technical striker vs someone with a ton of power and good wrestling.

Hard to pick a winner, but I'll go with Hendricks in a KO, he will tag him eventually.
