GSP was all banged up, he is probably a swollen mess today.

Gerb not sure what you were watching but that had to be a dq. There was about 5-7 illegal shots to the back of the head. It was bad that the ref didn't jump in sooner and just take a point away.

Can they call it a dq if the ref doesn't warn him first though?

I disagree, I think there has to be a warning and then if he continues you dq him. That should be a no contest imo.

It the illegal hit makes it unsafe for the person to continue it's a dq. If I poke you in the eye and you can't see it's not a no contest it's a dq.

Phil Davis and Wagner Prado eye poke resulted in a no contest.

If I just straight up intentionally kick a guy in the nuts, I'm talking vertical kick between the legs and he's unable to continue I'm gonna get a DQ. The DQ is what this guy deserved, he and everyone else knows you can't punch the back of the head. Dude deliberately did it like 9 times in a row.

Also, Condit is a badass:

Just go back to Jon Jones DQ loss. He was dq because he threw a illegal elbow. The fight was actually stopped Jones was warned and had a point taken away. During this time Hamill could not continue so Jones was dq. The funny thing about his dq is Hamill couldnt continue because of a dislocated shoulder it didn't even have to do with the illegal elbow but jones was still dq.

I want to see Hendricks vs GSP over Silva. If it's not for a title, then i think it's silly. I also don't get why Anderson wants to fight a smaller guy. If he wants a challenge then he should call out Jones.

I would say Anderson would only fight GSP if the money is so much he can't possibly say no.

i'd switch the names around - this is a much easier for for Silva than GSP.

He looked like a mess in the his post fight interviews. He does have a very light complexion that shows damage though.

Also, with the way he buries his head in guys when he has them down, I keep waiting for someone to open him up with an elbow from bottom.

Before GSP injury I would say about at least 1/2 of the people who follow mma would have picked GSP. Now all we hear is Silva is to big he should go up and fight Jones. 18 months ago GSP-Silva was every MMA fans dream fight. I don't get all the hate now for the matchup.

I find it funny that GSP had no problem taking a superfight with a guy who he outweighed by about 20 pounds on fight night(BJ Penn), but is hesitant to accept a fight with Anderson who is a little bigger than him.

BJ willingly went up and down in weight. GSP never said he wants to move up to fight at MW. Wasn't BJ calling him out? I think it's different since Silva is calling out a smaller guy.

Bj would fight anyone, literally anyone lol, maybe that was a poor example on my part.

I'd rather see someone at 170 take out GSP or someone at 185 take out Silva. Also - i'd rather see Silva fight Jones, i think it'd be more fun.

The way I look at at, those weight classes aren't going anywhere. But you have both GSP and Silva on top of the world, why not have them fight? It would create a ton of interest in the sport and would be a spectacle. The timing has never been better honestly and they are about the same size. Dana puts together the fights that fans want to see and this is number 2 in my mind of biggest fights the UFC can make.

I also think Silve knocks him out. But I'd definitely watch.

Silva is calling him out now? I'm assuming if he is that it's because he has heard from so many people including Dana that people would love to see the fight and it's obviously going to be a big money grab.

Rob, I assume number 1 is Bones/Spider?

Yes, I think that is the biggest fight in the sport right now.
