^^^Agreed. The already have enough trouble selling the 135 and 145lb weight classes and now they add the 125lbs. Idk if it's a great business decision for the UFC.

No I wasn't, Jones and Machida have tremendous respect for one another.

Because there are a lot of good fighters that are that size and fights to be made?

The sport is only growing in popularity and as that happens there will naturally be more weight classes added because there are a ton of competitors that are all sorts of sizes.

I just came across this...but the stare downs seem like total disrespect to me when he looks off into the crowd

Chalk me up as someone who isn't that interested in the 125 lb guys. If it's free or a bottom fight in the pay per view I will watch them but I won't buy a card if it's main event is between 2 - 125 lbs cats.

I understand your point and agree to an extent...but boxing fucked itself with too many divisions and champions

So your taking offense to him not looking at machida during the stare down. Have you watched many of the UFC weigh ins. Him not lookig at his opponent is less offensive then what about 75% of the fighters do. When it come to weigh ins you have your intense stare own guys, your over the top clown guys, your way to aggressive guys, and your lets get this over with guys. I would put jones In The last category which has to be better then the guys who turn it into a comedy act for attention or the guys who want to push the guy around with their head to intimidate their opponent or even worse try to fight then.

The only time I think jones has looked bad in the cage is when he gets pissy about rashad being interviewed. If the UFC didn't want Evans there they wouldn't let him in the cage. Other then that I think he's been well behaved and acted with class. If you want to say he shouldn't have dropped machida then you better not be someone who cheered when hendo landed his last shot on bisping.

Melendez needs to be in the UFC there is no one for him to fight in sf. Masvidal is in serious trouble if Melendez takes him down which I think he will be able to.

They would never fight each other, they are like brothers, besides from all accounts Machida tools Anderson in practice standing and on the mat.

But Anderson probably only has 3 fights left I would guess, maybe less if he loses to the Chael or Munoz winner.
