I hope the fight plays out similar to Machida/Shogun 1 which imo was the best technical striking fight in MMA(that I have seen).

I don't see the Machida/Bones fight being the same as the Rampage fight. I'm not saying Machida will win but it won't go down the same way.

Yeah I understand what you're saying, but that kick does add to the element of surprise. Dekkers hits to kill. He is punching THROUGH guys faces. The punch at 1:48 spins the guy around like on "Punch Out". Then a few seconds later he kicks a guy in the LEG and he goes down.

I've watched a lot of Dekkers, too bad he was just 1/2 a generation away. Give that guy some TD defense and he runs the UFC LW division.
He had 1 MMA rules fight ever and didn't know he was fighting under MMA rules until just before the fight, he lost by heel hook.
He won his 2nd to last kickboxing fight with a torn ligament in his shoulder, he could only punch with 1 arm. That was in 2005 and he was about 36 at the time. He could not throw a punch with his right arm, and knocked Duane Ludwig down a few times with only his left.
One of the best kickboxers/Thai boxers of all time.
