I now know I won't order and will watch the bucks/wisky game. I'll try to find this one online this time.

Diaz camp is trying to get it changed to a 5 rounder instead of 3.

I really wanted to see Condit beat GSP but looks like that will have to wait for a while.

Hopefully this doesn't happen. The fight was scheduled for a 3 round fight. Changing it to a 5 rounder makes the gameplan and conditioning strategy change a lot. This tells me Nick is worried about the fight.robj55;938047 wrote:Diaz camp is trying to get it changed to a 5 rounder instead of 3.

They should be able to go 5 rounds, they are top level mma fighters. Makes a lot of sense for Diaz because he has some of if not the best conditioning in all of mma, while BJ has been known to have cardio problems. I would be worried too if I was Diaz, BJ is the toughest challenge of his career.I Wear Pants;938148 wrote:Hopefully this doesn't happen. The fight was scheduled for a 3 round fight. He must be so worried that he wants to fight for an extra 10 minutes

If your game plan is to wait until the other guy is tired then you have a big problem. I don't think it says he's worried at all. Only 9 of his 32 fights have gone the distance and only one time was it a 5 round decision. I think he wants everything that comes with being a main event, but i think the last thing he is, is worried.I Wear Pants;938148 wrote:Hopefully this doesn't happen. This is fighting, not running, but I understand the conditioning aspect of it. My only point is these are two of the top fighters in the world, if they are doing the right things in camp then they should be able to go 5 rounds. Game plans may be impacted but neither of these guys are really strategists, they are guys who come to fight not out point people.I Wear Pants;938728 wrote:"They are top level distance runners, should be able to switch from doing a half marathon to a full with a two weeks notice."

Penn says he'd be cool with a 5 round fight as long as he's compensated for a 5 round fight.

Dana should realize how much of a fan's dream this fight is and make it 5.

This fight could be the best "boxing" fight in MMA. Both Diaz and Penn have fantastic boxing skills.

I think BJ beats Diaz as well. I hope Cro Cop beats Big Country.
