Woke up this morning to a winter weather warning alert on my phone. 4-6" starting this afternoon. It was also 4 degrees. Fun.

4-7" in Toledo looks like today. Won't be too windy but with the cold air it's going to be a lighter snow. Ice further south

A snow/sleet mixture coming down. Good times!

(edit) We can be thankful it ain't this bad. Remember the snow storm in Chicago last year, turned Lakeshore Dr. into a parking lot? This is my sisters back porch.

Nahh as a person working towards a broacasting Meteorology degree I can tell you that this one seems pretty good to turn out

:laugh:No but taking classes and learning how to forecast this one was pretty easy to predict. There's numerous computers that spit out data and essentially they were saying 4-6" of snow for Toledo the last 3 days and consistently at that. Usually days 4-5 you see some big swings and it gradually begins to settle as a storm gets closer. This time it settled 3 days out

Looks like im going to be late for work today. Went outside to get in my car and it is just a solid sheet of ice. It laughed at my scraper when I tried to scrap it off. Nothing I can do but sit on my couch and let my car heat up a little.

Just got done shoveling the 4" on my driveway here in South Toledo, so it looks like we were both right--btw, is there more coming?

I heard that here in Toledo it's supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow, and then in the 50's on Monday with rain--I wasn't sure what today was going to be like (when I first posted this is was gray and gloomy-now it's sunny with blue skies--crazy!!).
