Taking the wife to see Neil Diamond in July at the Q. Looking for a good seafood place or steakhouse around the arena area that we could go to. Price is not a concern...

Greenhouse Tavern and Lola are two of the best restaurants in Cleveland. But might not fit your steak/seafood parameters. Mortons is always decent, but if you want to go over the top check out XO Prime Steaks.

Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse is downtown only about a half a mile from the Q.
http://www.brasagrill.com/

There are several good restaurants in the Tremont and Ohio City area, but that takes you out of the city and into the neighborhoods.

Brasa is great. Lola is as well.

Not steakhouse/seafood but the last two nights I've eaten at B Spot Burger Bar and Melt. So much delicious.

If you must eat downtown, this is the place to go.

Lola is awesome. They have hanger steak which is delicious. Also change up most of the menu but have various seafood and pork chop/lamb shank. Pork belly appetizer is amazing as well as the dessert called 6am Special. It's maple bacon ice cream, french toast in the shape of a dog bone and camerlized apples. I try to make it there every time I'm in town.

I've heard Lola as well.

Some fun places: B Spot, Melt Bar & Grilled, and Frank Sterle Slovenian Chophouse (probably going to be closing, unless there's a buyer). I realize some may not be immediately in Cleveland or near the Q, but good places to go.

I've heard great things about XO and Lola...I'd love to try both.

And Melt is definitely not overrated.

Regarding Brazilian steakhouses...

How does this not sound like the best idea ever? If I'm reading this correctly, its unlimited meat and salad bar? What's the catch?

Mortons is a joke IMO. Go to Lola or a number of good places in Tremont/Ohio City.

I'm a big fan of Brazilian cooking. So this would be a great suggestion and a wonderful experience.

I suggested Pier W because of the food (fish and steak) and the atmosphere/view over the lake however be prepared to drop with drinks and dinner for two $100.00 easy. </SPAN>
