Nice try though.
Except you do need to see the behind the scenes. Maybe everyone is merely just moderating exactly how Justin has told them too? Maybe your problem is with the site in general, seeing as how Justin determines how it is run, and you obviously are not liking how it is run. You realize every time an infraction or warning is given, a thread is created in the Mod Forum. Then there is a discussion on the thread about the infraction/warning. There have been times where from the top down, things have been overturned. Mods are not running around rouge like you think.

You being banned from a thread show's you're the problem you're trying to fix.

You think it's not working because you don't like the way your posts are moderated, right or wrong.

Really? I'm pretty nice to new users. It's the old ones who troll Ohio State threads relentlessly and never get any punishment that is the generator of my frustration. Seemingly, I do the same to their threads in a tit for tat manner and end up in the basement. It's inconsistent. I'm being punished for being a better "troll", which I find largely hilarious and somewhat sad.

In fact, any punishment for "trolling" is not within the framework of the rules. If there is a rule established against trolling, and that rule is enforced equally among all users, that would go a long way in eliminating trolling.

Personally, I think "trolling" is part of forum life. There is nothing wrong with it, except when it crosses the line via personal attacks of character.

And there we have it. You think it's ok that you can just constantly destroy threads. It's not. End of story with that.

Destroy threads? I never destroy any threads. I enhance them if anything.

For me, its posting in a thread and ending the discussion. Rarely do any of my posts end a discussion.

So Sleeper = Bob?

It all makes sense now.

I remember back on the site that was just a prequel to Freehuddle/OC who had a mod who had no life at all, and moderating was his only thing in life, and got it revoked and threatened to kill himself so they gave him his mod status back. Forget who it was...think it was NL CR Fan who was telling me about it and this dude was also a creepy stalker with some of the females on the site , hell, what was I talking about?

Oh yeah.

Is it too early for flapjacks?

Welcome to forums. That happens all the time. Every start a conversation about marbles and end up talking about the theory of relativity? I do all the time, and one of the last words I think of is "destroy".

I don't mind off topic threads. I do mind off topic threads where everyone is just fighting with each other.

Also, this thread is proof enough. We started talking about the worst moderator and now we have ended up discussing the future of the OC.

Some of them end any actual discussion, even if the posts continue for several more pages.

I've been on forums for quite a long time and what you do would have had a stop put to it a long time ago. Even on OT.
