I've experienced it and I still think it was a stupid thing to do. Do I think they should be discharged....no. However, an Article 15 an demotion should do. These soldiers disgraced their fellow soldiers that do things the right way.

You say, there isn't a draft so they chose to be put in the situation they are put in. SIMPLE
I meant, they chose to be Marines, they chose to fight to defend our country anywhere in the world. They didn't chose to be put in no win situations, situations that a bunch of suits put them in. Rules of engagement they are forced to follow that require them to take fire before firing, and even after taking fire having to wait even longer before returning fire. They are in a war zone where not only do they have to follow a checklist before engaging, but the enemy they have been surrounded by is playing by no rules. COMPLEX
Im sure waiting for the correct time to fire back and watching your buddy take a bullet to the head was exactly what they signed up for.
So yes, they chose to be Marines, and thank God they did so we can sit here and debate whether or not pissing on a corpse makes them evil human beings.
They still chose to be apart of everything, it is not a complex issue. When I enlisted 11 years ago, I knew the risks and I willingly accepted those risks and unfortunately had to be deployed and a part of the war effort.

The deaths of Mussolini and those terrorists have made the world a better place.
I agree with you that the world is a much better place without Mussolini and Taliban fighters.
It wasn't US soldiers that dragged Mussolini's body was my point. So why bring it up? I don't hold Italian women to the same standards that I hold US soldiers. US soldiers are better than Italian women but apparently you think otherwise.
That's stupid. Because someone didn't serve they can't have an opinion? Allan West is an ass. People pay these soldiers salaries and are being misrepresented as US citizens by these jerkwads.
