I'm surprised you were even wearing pants with how this one was going.

We were going to go but after pricing it, it came down to this or Spring Training.

I was at the bar. They frown upon pantslessness.

51-24. Hardly as bad as this 70-26 debacle (and the game ain't over).

Funniest moment of the night: Clemson holding up picture of Michelle Obama and saying "Is that Lisa Salters?"

Gruden with the jokes! They were talking about college basketball after that. This has to stink for them because they are NFL guys covering a college game and probably don't know too much about the players.

Gruden pays decent attention to college, at least when they have him doing the QB camp shit around draft time. Jaws will do the homework on anything to at least have a clue. It could be worse (see: FOX NFL guys just randomly showing up and winging it the past 4 years)

I think that one was even worse, because most people thought that one would be a good game. Everyone knew Florida would stomp Cinci. Same with the Georgia - Hawaii and USC - Illinois games.

They were terrible games, but when you know they will be going in it softens the blow a little in my opinion.

The USC/Oklahoma title game was the ugliest BCS game that came to my mind outside of this one.

@BryanDFischer: Clemson has allowed more touchdowns in this game than Alabama's defense has all year.

2010: Lost by 28
2009: Lost by 27
2008: Lost by 13
2006: Won by 11
2004: Lost by 28

Those are the BCS results by Big East teams other than West Virginia since Miami and VT left the conference. Current Big East teams not nicknamed the Mountaineers are 1-5 overall in the BCS with some really ugly losses (the 5th was Syracuse losing by 21 way back in 1998).

WVU has been very good (3-0), but 1 program does not a not-terrible conference make.

The ACC is equally horrible at the top, but has more depth overall in my opinion. Either way, auto bids are a joke and so is the at-large selection process.

Guy I'm friends with, who's a va tech fan is delusional. Posts like this on his fb wall.

Really Clemson? You are the acc champs? 70 points?

Va tech at least is competitive in its bcs games?

Va tech needs to join a real conference so we aren't embarrased by others.

I responded to all 3 pretty much the same way.
If Clemson is down by nearly 40 to wvu would they beat you guys by 75 then?
Being competitive is enough for you?? Ouch
You're 1-5 in bcs games, that's embarrassing for the conference too.

He Also says they had no fans at the game last night because it's 14 hours away and they can't expect fans to travel to a bowl game 2 years in a row. Lol what????
