By the way, I was thinking about organizing the player pick-em this year but wanted to get everyones input on a date to start, amount of posters to take and anything else. It was run pretty smoothly last year, but I think starting a few days earlier wouldnt have hurt.

We should also just have a designated person to pick for people after their hours are up. I could do it, and if you anticipate being gone just send me a PM of like 10 players or something. That worked well last year for a few people who PMd me their picks.

After Selection Sunday. I'd be able to do the scoring again if needed. I had fun with it last year.

Good nailed it. We started the mandatory selection after the teams were picked, but you could pick players before that, if your spot came up. I think everyone did just that for the first round at least. Id be open to saying we could do the first 2 rounds prior to Selection Sunday. By that time, we know 90% of the teams who will make it in. So it shouldnt be an issue. Plus, no one is going to take a mid-major player 1st round if that team needs to win the conference tourney to get in anyway.

Well hell, I'll take 61-62 for as many games as I've missed by forgetting to get my picks in by the time the first game starts. Probably missed at least 8-10 easy.

I've been out of it since week 2. I was 11-17.

I'll take 40-25 since then, especially since I've been picking some dumb upsets the last few weeks in a futile effort to gain ground. 61.5% would be good enough for fifth at this point. Unfortunately the first 2 weeks still count.

Won't toot my own horn, it was a massive comeback. What won it? I picked Ohio State to win the final game of the year, which was a 2-point game...go figure, the Buckeyes got it done for me...

You had Duke and MSU, Laley had Florida and MSU. I ended up getting OSU, UK and UNC all correct, which was the difference in the 2-point games. Really close...
