0-0 as an owner, hope he continues his undefeated streak this Sunday.

To say weedon doesn't have the skill set is wrong. He has all the skills it's the mental part. He has the arm the accuracy is ok but can approve. He has to get the mental part down and he will be solid. I see him like a Matt schaub.

I say you're wrong because someone's mental makeup and capacity is 100% part of their skillset.

holmgren being out doesnt matter...he was just a figure head anyways. heckert's (impending) departure is much bigger news

Considering, as I mentioned on the Holmgren thread, that Banner is NOT a personnel guy. If Banner doesn't hire a GM, we're fucked.

I love how everyone acts like I'm some big bad Browns fan becuase I don't like a front office move we made.

"Oh, you don't like taking a 29 year old QB with a first round pick? To the pits of Browns fanhood you go!!!"

You didn't say that genius. Which is problem why I asked the question to begin with. Smh. Defensive much?

I agree with this....and that is what has kept us in the bottom of the league since our return. We have not drafted and evaluated players like an NFL team is suppose to. Heckert has done the best job of any Browns GM so far since the return, I will give him that.

The only thing that scares me is the way Banner is with contracts...he is very tight with money and wants things done his way. With the upcoming contract negotiations of key players it concerns me that he may let them walk.

I hope he hires a GM but we're already fucked as is. It cant get much worse.

Yeah, it can. Heckert hasn't been "GM of the century" but if Banner starts picking players, we're going to be in worse shape.

I think Haslam is smart enough to realize he needs surrounded by smart business people (Banner) as well as great talent evaluators and coaches.

I agree but as a rookie that's very hard to find. I'm saying his physical attributes are there but he can definitely fix the mental part by game experience watching hours of film to correct his mistakes. We will see if he will be able to do that

Daryl Ruiter ‏ @ RuiterWrongFAN Was told by a source that not touching the # Browns helmet was the 2nd of 4 conditions Randy Lerner had for Haslam; not moving team the 1st

I know the free agency topic has been discussed often (pro's & con's) but it sounds like Lerner instructed Heckert & Holmgren NOT to spend in free agency (adding large contracts) so the team would be more marketable in a sale.

Some people are ultra-douchebag sensitive about "ooooh....don't touch the helmets...it's 'tradition." Fuck "tradition"...a tradition of losing.

This franchise needs a change of identity...I'm not saying rename the team, change colors, etc...but a new logo and uniform would go a long way in showing how the new identity is here and hopefully that new identity brings wins and playoff births with it. When I see the Browns uniforms logos all I think about is how terrible this team has been since its return....

Patriots did it back when Kraft took over
Falcons revamped their logo and unis
Eagles revamped logo and unis
Lions just revamped their logo and unis
Broncos revamped logo and uni

Truth be told, I'd like to see them make the helmet that "glitter" orange looking deal kind of like Ohio State's. That's sharp.

There was talk of a Uni change back when winslow was a rookie. Dont think it went anywhere.
