Fitz is 6'3...Blakmon is 6'1. They are both in the 220 lb range. Blakmon has a very long arm span. And I don't care what kind of offense he played in. I've seen enough of him to know he's a beast. I've seen him run over guys and away from guys. He plays faster than his 40 speed. I also like the rest of the guys you listed. But I sure wouldn't be upset if the Browns drafted him.Commander of Awesome;1054830 wrote:Larry Fitz is about 3 or 4 inches taller than him though, thats the point with Blackmon. He's not overly big, fast, explosive off the line, has drop issues, and played in a spread offense. That's why I'd rather get a guy like Wright, Floyd, Sanu, or Quick. All of which I think have potential to be better WRs at the next level than Blackmon. Most scout's agree, Blackmon's ceiling is Boldin and that's not good enough at #4 IMO. Would I like Boldin on the Browns? Absolutely. But I'd much rather have Steve Smith, Fitzgerald, Nicks etc....

If they use one of those 1st rounders on Tannehill, he'll be the starter.OhioStatePride2003;1055106 wrote:There's that Tannehill name again...

I'd prefer they get RG3 but I doubt he falls to #4. Holmgren already mentioned if they use a "high" pick on a QB (1st rounder), he'd be the starter. The other option would be to save the picks and sign Flynn.like_that;1055178 wrote:Can't wait /sarcasm.

I'd rather they sign Flynn. At least we know he can play (and win) as a QB in the NFL. Everyone else are bigger question marks than McCoy.

No doubt dude. He has started 2 games! He is as much a gamble as a rookie. And I bet flynn commands 40 to 50 million.

Latest rumor has Peyton Manning & Jeff Saturday being traded to the Redskins for draft picks. That would be one less competitor for a QB through the draft or FA.

That's a terrible article. They drafted a basketball guy last year. Jimmy Graham wasn't what he is now his rookie year, nor was Vernon Davis.
Bottom line, they need a QB. A good QB makes good receivers...see Jake Ballard
Cleveland media is the worst

Cameron could be their guy. With a good offense (QB) he may turn out to be a TE in this mold. He is definitely athletic enough.

What stands out to me in that article is this
Gronk drafted in round 2
Graham in round 3
Hernadez in round 4
Those guys were steals where they were drafted.

Oh and Tom Brady and Drew Brees throw to them.
Those teams were able to reach for athletes at tight end because they are set at most positions.
Heckert and Holmgren drafted a bball guy to develop into a mismatch, this stuff takes time

Rankings on draftcountdown have been updated. DeCastro at #7, not surprised.

Interesting to see that he has Wright as the second best WR.Commander of Awesome;1055608 wrote:http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Rankings.php

There are quite a few analysts that would rank him above Blackmon.bases_loaded;1055630 wrote:He's not number 1??? What a dumbass

Dumb ones. Or ones who over analyze to create a facade they are smarter than others.

Blackmon will be the best WR in the draft, there's no doubt about it. I hope to God he lands to us at 4. Just watch what he'll do to this offense.
