Saw an article, maybe on here? Basically it said Colt should at least start the season as the starting QB.. I disagree heavily. IMO, Weeden should be the guy from day 1. He's mature enough to handle the pressure and he's played a professional sport before. Let him get his feet wet from the get go.

Yeah, I saw it. It was those fucking douchers over on the Bleacher Report. A couple of them still have a major hard on for McCoy when it's pretty obvious the direction the team is going in.hoops23;1227198 wrote:Saw an article, maybe on here? If he wins out the QB competition, then let him be the starter. But I highly doubt the 22nd overall pick will not start.hoops23;1227198 wrote:Saw an article, maybe on here? Robert Griffin III will sign his rookie contract and is off to training camp. According to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora, Griffin's deal is worth between $21-22 million over four year and is fully guaranteed. Last year's No. 2 pick, Von Miller, signed a four-year deal worth $21 million.

Tucker (Sirius XM) had the following:
Pittsburgh 13-3
Baltimore 10-6
Cincinnati 8-8
Cleveland 4-12
Why WOULD anyone pick the Browns to be a sleeper this year? It's the safe thing to do to go with the flow.

I dont see pittspuke winning 13 games. New offense, no RB, aging def. I hope this is the year that rapistberger gets his career ending injury.

Also I'm fine with being thought of as a 1-15 team. Sneak up on ppl and be a surprise team like in 07 or the 9ers from last season. No one expects us to be good, so we'll be off the radar.

Agreed. They snuck up on teams in 2007. As you mentioned, the Niners (and Bengals) did it last year.Commander of Awesome;1227805 wrote:Also I'm fine with being thought of as a 1-15 team. The scene has been posted on here like 15 times. It's the whole Steelers team, playing as the Gotham City Rogues.

I don't think the Browns are going to be world beaters this year, but this prediction is a complete joke. I am willing to bet 95% of the "experts" don't know a damn thing about the Browns, therefore it's easy to predict them to win 1 game. The Browns were pretty competitive in all their games last year, they really could have won more than 4, and this is all with an incompetent offense.Commander of Awesome;1227785 wrote:CBS Sports picked the Browns to go 1-15
The Browns will be predicted to play like shit until they prove otherwise, however the Steelers with 13 wins?? Against who? All of a sudden hiring Todd Haley as a coordinator hides the fact their defense is aging, their top lineman is injury prone, their best(or 2nd best) WR might miss some training camp time, and they don't have their starting RB.BR1986FB;1227797 wrote:Tucker (Sirius XM) had the following:

If it makes you feel better BR, in the trailer it looks like 98% of the Steelers fall to their death.BR1986FB;1227814 wrote:After hearing that Hines Ward supposedly makes a cameo appearance in "The Dark Knight Rises", now I REALLY don't want to see it.

It's strictly because they drafted O-Line. All of the analysts are riding Decastro's nuts and think Adams is going to be something.like_that;1227842 wrote:The Browns will be predicted to play like shit until they prove otherwise, however the Steelers with 13 wins?? As far as your "98%" comment...maybe now I SHOULD see the movie.

I'm pissed the Steelers upgraded their major weakness through the draft. I know Mike Adams can be a f*cktard at times, but the talent and potential is definitely there. If he performs consistently, and DeCastro lives up to the hype, the Steelers may have turned their weakness into possibly a strength and at the very least a solid group.Commander of Awesome;1227872 wrote:Guess we'll have to see which one pans out to be better, either way I dont like either getting a good guard.

Their line was far from stellar but Roethlisberger holding onto the ball forever made that line look a lot worse than it was. I don't expect that facet of their offense to change.lhslep134;1228155 wrote:I'm pissed the Steelers upgraded their major weakness through the draft. [h=1]Josh Gordon takes 'Randy Moss-like talents' to Browns[/h][h=6]+ Share[/h][h=5]Share X[/h]
The Cleveland Browns can't predict what they have in rookie wide receiver Josh Gordon, but the team burnt a 2013 second-round draft pick in hopes of something special.
How does a young Randy Moss sound?
Hold your laughter. One NFL executive told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Gordon, taken by the Browns in last week's supplemental draft , possesses "Randy Moss-like talents."
Gordon hasn't played in a game since 2010 (kind of like Moss), but he showed promise in teaming at Baylor with Robert Griffin III, now the Washington Redskins ' starting quarterback. Gordon has favorable size . At 6-foot-3, 224-pounds, he's the same height and 2 pounds lighter than Andre Johnson. He's an inch shorter than Moss but with a thicker build. Gordon gives the Browns a big, strong wideout -- in theory.
Browns president Mike Holmgren has said from the start that he wants to build this team through the draft. The Browns have stuck to the playbook, acquiring running back Trent Richardson and quarterback Brandon Weeden in April. The team believes Gordon -- alongside Greg Little -- can awaken the passing game, which has slept soundly for years.
Comparing anyone to Moss is a stretch. Besides, we have a more pressing question for this NFL executive: Assuming you aren't paid by the Browns, how are you explaining to your boss that you've just passed on selecting the next Randy Moss? Sounds like a fun chat.

^^^^ This would be great for Cleveland as long as he doesn't have that Randy Moss attitude.
