Ross Tucker ‏@RossTuckerNFL So are we trying to fix the concussion "crisis" one thigh pad at a time?

Tucker's a boss. Love listening to him on the morning drive. Some dude tweeted in this morning that Tucker was a "meathead" and a "journeyman." Tucker took that as compliments.

Let's see what happens when they get the full pads on, and Haden is jamming him full go at the line of scrimmage. It was not secret that Haden was not the fastest CB in the world when we drafted him, not too sure why all of a sudden in year 3 he would be exposed for it.

lol'd, but I think it's idiotic when players don't wear all their pads.

Mary Kay Cabot ‏@MaryKayCabot #browns qb Brandon Weeden said "I've got to go out and compete. It's not my job. I have to go out and take it."

Mary Kay Cabot ‏@MaryKayCabot #browns qb Brandon Weeden said the relationship w/ McCoy has been good, cordial, nothing out of ordinary.

Tony Grossi ‏@TonyGrossi Bottom line on Colt McCoy's presser: He's a very hurt young man.

Tony Grossi ‏@TonyGrossi Interestingly, Colt McCoy would not deny #Browns told him they wouldn't take QB in 1st round. Said he won't get into he said she said thing.

Tony Grossi ‏@TonyGrossi Colt McCoy prefaced one sentence, "If it's a fair competition, then that's all you can ask for."

john telich ‏@JohnTelich8 "Its not me vs him.. I want this to be about the Cleve Browns" Colt McCoy #browns on Brandon Weeden qb battle

Daryl Ruiter ‏@RuiterWrongFAN McCoy said he was well aware of all the stories and Browns pursuit of QBs

Daryl Ruiter ‏@RuiterWrongFAN McCoy thrilled they drafted Richardson

Mary Kay Cabot ‏@MaryKayCabot #browns qb colt McCoy said he didn't ask for a trade because he was told he could compete for the job. Added "I thought today went great"

Agreed. It's not like Haden is super slow, he's still got great speed, just not elite. But his long arms and overall build help him out a lot.

There's no shame in getting burned by a guy who runs a low 4.3 without pads.

LOL at the haden/benjamin thing.

Also, LOL at Grossi. He's a hack piece of shit just looking to get twitter views and re-tweets. He is the absolute worst.

Let's focus on someone other than Haden. Thanks kindly. Oh like say the rookies who have yet to prove anything in this league.

That was with a back issue. Before he injured his knee last year I thought he was elite. Ross Tucker and Matt Williamson listed him on the short list of 2 as the best corner in the league.

As COA said, that was with the Hammy issue.

When he ran it healthy a couple weeks later he was down to a 4.4

One of Ross Tucker's topics this morning on The Morning Drive was Colt McCoy asking for a "fair competition." Tucker felt bad for McCoy but also said there is no "fair" in football. You make the most of the opportunities you're given.

A few callers called in siding with McCoy on how things weren't "fair." Couldn't give an real reasons like "he looked good last year", etc but they argued just the same. A Vikings fan called in and applauded the Browns for making the move after what they went through with Tarvaris Jackson.

I was listening to a radio show this morning, too. The host said Brandon Weeden is going to be a top 3 QB in the NFL THIS YEAR. Said if he was 22 years old, he would have been the #1 overall pick over Luck and RG3. A caller called in and said if he's not in the Super Bowl by year 2, it'd be a miracle because he's that good.

They need to just cut McCoy or trade him immediately.

This is turning into a circus. He is obviously pissed off, and there is nothing positive about keeping him around as a malcontent who is feeding the media some QB competition fantasy.

They (the media) are not going to let this die until he is gone, so just make it happen already so we can all move on.

The jaded cleveland media will just find something new to create a circus. A lot of idiots will buy into it too.

I don't know, it was on satellite radio.

The guy said he spoke with a lot of people in Cleveland who say that Weeden is VERY close to telling h&h to get rid of McCoy. Obviously he wants to be the guy and not have to worry about someone taking his spot.

LOL. He'll tell H&H huh? Sorry McCoy is staying, its Wallace that will get the Axe IMO.
