would be fine with a floyd trade up...i dont want them trading up for anybody else, however2kool4skool;1154067 wrote:If what it takes is 22 and 37, is there any fan who wouldn't be okay with that?
Would much rather have Floyd than Kendall Wright and Mike Adams or whatever combo they go with at 22/37.

I am not sure I want to trade up again if it means giving up 22/37 to get one player.
We needed 3 starters from those 3 picks (4/22/37) and only walking away with 2 (while studs) seems like a bit of a step back.
I am torn, I love the idea of getting T-rich/Floyd, but am not sure I would prefer that over T-Rich/WR/OL if we kept 22/37.

I think the WR target is Kendall Wright.

I remember reading a while back that Heckert really likes Justin Blackmon apparently. I wonder if he is the guy they are thinking of if he slips a few picks towards the back of the top 10.

There's a concern they couldn't get him at 22?BR1986FB;1154081 wrote:I think the WR target is Kendall Wright.

Doubting this because the Jags are possibly moving up to 4 to get Blackmon.IggyPride00;1154083 wrote:I remember reading a while back that Heckert really likes Justin Blackmon apparently. I wonder if he is the guy they are thinking of if he slips a few picks towards the back of the top 10.

Just a hunch. Have no idea if they're concerned about missing out on him. Just think he fits the WCO and Heckert's mold.2kool4skool;1154086 wrote:There's a concern they couldn't get him at 22?
BTW...Is Andrew Luck a dork or what?

Not that high on Wright. He is a smaller guy without great speed (showing up fat/slow to the combine doesn't inspire confidence). Seems like he could be the second coming of Peter Warrick in the pros. Don't really want.
Not to mention I worry that RGIII made him look better than he really is.

At least in our trade we gave up the 4th round pick we got from the Falcons. The 5th and 7th were ours though. Not too worried about giving up those picks

ESPN's Bob Holtzman on # Browns: "Expect them to turn their
attention to WR at 22. Heckert has one guy in mind." (Guess: Kendall Wright.)

LOL at anyone who was disappointed that we did what it took to make sure we have this stud lining up in our backfield instead of someone elses.
I can't wait to watch him runover everyone in the AFC north. He will be riding Joe Thomas's ass.

If we keep him healthy, I envision a season like Peyton Hillis circa 2010

Personally, I'd rather have Cordy Glenn than Wright at 22(assuming they're both there.)
I think the drop off in OL talent will be greater between 22 and 37 than WR will.

So the first 4 picks have worked out much how everyone has expected. Buccaneers taking Claiborne now?
