Peter King tweeted that the Browns were willing to deal 3 #1's, but the 2nd round pick was the deal breaker.

It's kind of bizarre, because clearly they liked him enough to mortgage the future, but walked away over a 2nd round pick.

I don't even know how to react to this, but let me tell you, that 2002 playoff team didn't have many "good ass players."

I'm 22, and I remember the 2002 goal-line stand to clinch the playoffs against Atlanta like it was yesterday.

But speaking of CYO, I actually had a CYO basketball game during the playoff game against Pittsburgh, so I unfortunately missed most of the first half and unfortunately saw most of the 2nd. Bad times.

I said I remembered parts. I remember that the most. At home our defense stepped up big time. But do I remember the other 8 wins? No. I was in the cyo football league, we played at 1pm on sundays. So nice fail COA.

Yeah the 2002 browns season. Can't recall it. Only seen two games or so. The win at home against atlanta and the playoff game. But I forgot you knew me and my schedule as an 11 year old.

Lol righttt fail for playing sports and staying out of trouble. Maybe you should have started playing sports when you were younger and you wouldn't have been a bench warmer in high school or college:thumbup:

all I know is, is that if the Browns had made this exact deal (3 #1s and a #2) I would have quit. I cannot fucking believe that Snyder did this. Every fucking year there is a qb that's the next great thing. Every fucking year. And you're going to give away 4 of your next 6 over the next 3? GTFOOHWTSMF!

That said... Colt, you still kind of suck. But hopefully (hopefully) we get you some help instead of drafting you clone.

I'm in favor of being honest with colt. Telling him he's got 16 games. Use it or lose it. Use those top picks on help... Wr, rt, rb

Get that weak fucking shit outta here. 21 years old? Impatient? Some of us have had to watch the likes of Mike Phipps, Paul McDonald, David Mays (The Butcher) and Terry Luck as the QB.

You're "impatient?" Try watching this team for almost FORTY years, seeing what was once a GREAT franchise turned to shit by a GREEDY owner who wanted to move them. This team USED to be fun to watch and worth watching. Get that weak ass "impatient" shit out of here...21 years old. Sheesh...

#gocolt as much as you want. Unless they are "desparate" and backed into a corner, he STILL won't be the starter this year. The fact they offered three 1st's tells you their confidence level in him.

The way you feel about what you would have done had they traded all of those picks for RG3 is the EXACT way I feel about having to suffer through another season of watching Linguini Arm under center.

With the Browns previous "good fortunes" things were destined to happen like this. I guess all of Heckert's comments earlier in the week were bullshit.

I find it hard to believe that a 21 yr old cannot remember a 9-8 season. It was a season to remember.

They WERE "honest with Colt" when they offered THREE 1st rounders to the Rams. They told Colt "thanks, but you suck....we're looking for a game changer NOT a game manager."

This is pretty depressing....I thought that this could be the year they got that dynamic player but instead they will probably now be "all in" for Flynn and if they get shut out on that?

Ok enough of this lack of memory bullshit...back to the Browns.
Things should be a little more clear now that it's clearly not going to be RGIII. So now what do you guys think they do with the 2 first rd picks? Do they go after Flynn? Draft a QB? Also, clearly most of us on here agree that the amount Washington gave up was too much, but has anyone seen or heard anything from Redskins fans about what they think of the deal? Are they pissed about it or are Browns fans just bitter because once again we couldn't pull the trigger?

I think they will either pursue Flynn hard now or hopefully butt rape the Rams by moving down to 6 where they would likely take Tannehill.

Yeah, I am curious to hear what Washington fans think. I am hoping we go with blackmon and mike Adams.

I know it will never happen, but I would like to see Mario Williams in a browns uni.
