If we don't take Trent, I'd rather trade down and accumulate more picks... As long as we don't trade out of the top 9 or 10.

I do admit a couple months ago I was 100% on the Blackmon pick...now I'm thinking there may be other options. But I still say he's a good pick at 4. I think he's going to be a BEAST.

I disagree on the other WRs though...I think Blackmon is clearly the best WR in this draft.

The fan base would be pissed if this happened. Trading down and missing out on a big named playmaker would not be surprising though.

They may dislike it but an Oline of Thomas Pinkston Mack DeCastro Martin could have potential to be one of the best of all time. Also it is fine to hate on Weeden because he is old but in my opinion you have to take chances if you want to be a winner.

Ill take one of those Olinemen, but we need an offensive playmaker with one of those first rounders. Two olinemen would be the dumbest first round I could think of. I'd rather have Weeden instead of one of those picks

I will put money on it that floyd ( barring injuries) will be the best receiver in this draft. He has the total package. I think his injury history is the reason he's not a top 5 pick. Blackman is another Crabtree/ boldin. A good receiver but not elite.

I don't necessarily agree with his mock (especially weeden, fuck that shit), but who gives a fuck? If H&H are going to start to make decisions with fear of dealing with a QQing fanbase, then they need to just quit right now. That's how FO's end up making stupid ass picks such as drafting Weeden. Winning will make any fan STFU from complaining.

I think Wes was just making the observation, I don't think he would mind trading down. At least I don't think so haha

He's definitely right though..the fanbase would freak out. "H&H you're just afraid to draft a superstar top 10 pick because you don't want to pay them in 5 years!" it'd be something like that. Puke.

Yeah, I know what Wes was saying, I was just giving my thoughts on the fanbase QQing. When you are a GM you can't worry about what the fans think. If you let the fans influence your moves, then you shouldn't be a GM. I don't think the fans would claim they didn't want to pay a top 10 player, because Dolan isn't the Browns owner lol, but they def would QQ about not getting a playmaker in the top 10.

If we traded down and got three first rounds, I would like to get 3 offensive players. WR/Oline/Best available? (This is if Richardson isn't there, if he is Trich/WR/Oline). If they have a 2nd round pick after that I would still be tempted draft an offensive player.

I agree, offense offense offense needs to be the theme of this draft. Although I wouldn't mind an OLB sprinkled in there somewhere in the first 3 or 4 picks.

Im so sick of watching this bogus offense lol especially cuz our defense was decent last yr and will only be getting better.

So worst case scenario right now would be Tampa trading up to #3 to take Richardson and unable to trade back to get value. Who would you want then?

Listening to Draftcountdown podcast this morning, they're saying what Durkie was saying. Character concerns will push Jenkins close to bottom of the 1st or 2nd round in the draft. I didn't realize he also had 4 kids with 4 different women. They say on talent/tape he's the #1 or #2 corner in this draft and the best cover corner. Yet his off the field BS will push him down.

Kalil....I think you can still get a Playmaking WR with that 2nd first round pick without the top 10 pick investment and expectations. I have always believed you have to build your O/D-lines through the draft and that is how you win games. Drafting Kalil will solidified the offensive line, even though he is moving over from LT....he is still the best OL in this draft so you take him.
