I have pride in my hometown, hell I was on the first football team to ever make the state playoffs.

Yeah. In the past 10-15 years, my hometown has something like two state championships and two state runner-up appearances. Cool stuff, but nothing I get overly excited about. Nice thing to bring up in conversation with someone who seems into that kind of thing, but I don't jizz myself in joy daily thinking about it.

I'm friends with people from my hometown and none of us could give a fuck how our high school is doing. It's completely meaningless unless you're in high school. With that said, to get on a message board and argue with other adults about high school sports is retarded.
