In other news...the Pistons are so bad. How is Joe Dumars still employed?

He ruined the shit out of that franchise.

Agreed. The Darko pick, AI-Chauncey trade, and the Villaneuva/Gordon signings are all fireable moves.

I'm starting to think Washington might go winless.

Yes. The fact he's still hired is mindfully befuddling.

Welp...

Looks like the Wiz are going to do it. Demolishing the Raptors tonight.

Also, Philly is up 30+ on Sac Town.

Philly is on a roll, they are very good defensively and are extremely balanced. Mullens with 15 and 10 tonight in a loss.

Yeah I did feel Philly could finish top 4 in the East in this thread, but they have really surprised me. Like someone said, balance. That can be a bad thing in the NBA though.

Washington got the win, but John Wall needs to start making shots at some point.

ET had 16/10/8 tonight for Philly. Near triple-double.

Turner would be putting up way better numbers on a different team, a team that wasn't so balanced in minutes and shot distribution.

Wall is in a major funk, seems like no one wants to be in Washington on that team. I've heard about how much of a cancer Andray Blatche and Mcgee are, horrible for a young team who has pretty much tuned their coach out.

Philly is ranked #1 on Hollingers ratings...

However, they've played a very weak schedule and have 1 win against a team over .500 I believe...

We'll see how good they really are when the schedule picks up. I do think they're a top 5 team in the east if everything goes right for them. ET needs more PT though.

Yeah, I've never understood the (limited) love McGgee gets. He's a great athlete but nothing more than an average player and seems more interested in getting his than in anything team related.

I think the eastern playoff picture is already pretty set. Not in terms of seeding, but the top 8 teams right now are the 8 I would expect to be there at the end. Milwaukee is the only team I could see taking one of those spots, but it's tough for me to pick a team that starts Ersan Ilyasova into the playoffs.

Looks like Cleveland and Boston are tied for that 8th spot. I'm with the crowd that supports Cleveland further tanking and securing a better draft pick rather than playing average ball and getting dropped in the first round...but if them getting in means beating out Boston for a spot (especially the last one), that'd be fun too.

I just don't get how security didn't get to them? I mean I know it was Detroit, but the last thing they need there is player/fan interaction lol

And Kobe is puttin' on a show in La La Land tonight.
