I also think the Knicks can give Chicago or Miami a run for their money. The pick-up of Tyson Chandler gives them a bonafide front court.

I also like Landry Fields a lot. If Baron is healthy, he gives them dynamic scoring from the PG position and Carmelo is THE go to guy down the stretch.

Yeah, that's crazy if true.

I really like what the Pacers are doing though. They sucked ass 2 seasons ago and now they potentially have a top 5 team in the East.

If Fields played like he did before he hit the Rookie Wall last year he will be impressive. They need some depth in the front court though

Yup. Was just going to post about Dallas. They have received beatdowns in their first two games of the season.

Actually true. He has said how crazy it is to be close to Hibbert in practice.

EJ with the game winner for New Orleans. Hit a 20 footer with 4 seconds to go to beat the Suns in Phoenix, 85-84.

Clippers did what they had to do, but they will really miss Gordons scoring this season.

Paul, Chauncey, Mo..all guys capable of going off for 20 or so points any given game. I think they will get all the scoring they need from their guards.

Looks like a Christmas Day hangover for the Bulls as the Gun Shot Wounds are beating them pretty good right now.

Gordon will average 22 a game, possibly more. Those guys wont. I never said they wont be better off this year, but not having a go to guard is a big deal in the NBA. Chris Paul is great, but he isnt really a pure scorer.

Id think guard scoring might be their biggest issue. Especially if Chauncey still thinks he is good and jacks 15 times a game. 6 games in 8 days will not be good to them, Gordon will be fine with it.

I see a lot of 4-17 type games for Rose this year. Hes a bad 3 point shooter and shoots 2 many of them.

Agreed. That is going to kill them in the postseason. He is their main guy offensively and the ball tends to die in his hands

You have to give up value to get value. Losing Gordon sucks, but they will be much better off. Besides, look around the league, there are very few great 2 guards. I think you can survive with an average one.

If I was LAC, I would be more worried about the depth in the front court

Ive said I think they will be better off short term (this year and if Paul takes option next). All I am saying is, that imo, its important to have a go-to guard. Paul is great, but not a scorer. He can scored, but hes a PG first. Blake is go to, but again a post player. Tougher for them to be relied on in the clutch cause he cant get the ball and wait to make a move. Its gotta be quicker.

Gordon proved last year how important he was to that team in the 4th quarter when they needed drives/scores from a guard (him). This year I think they will really miss that. Doesnt mean they wont be better, but they will miss it.

I really, really like Gordon. I liked him at IU and thought he'd be a dynamite player in the NBA.

I think the trade works for LAC because they already have scorers, they needed somebody to run their offense consistently. CP3 is still a top-tier PG and can fill it up as well.

I realize Boston doesn't have PP right now, but there is no way in the hell this is a top 4 team in the East anymore. Wow, they are old and slow.

Heat, Bulls, Magic, Knicks.

Was just going to say something about Norris Cole. Really helps out that second unit.
