Just got back from seeing it.

I liked it a lot. I think it will get an Oscar (Best Picture) nod, although I doubt it will win.


Anyone else see it?

Planning on seeing it tomorrow. I like studying WWI and it's often overlooked in movies so I'm excited about seeing it.

It looks absolutely horrible. Know how the real story would go? The horse would go sprinting through the first battle and catch a bullet in the head and tumble to the ground and bleed out

The way they did it made it seem believable (at least IMO)

Very good movie. Not great, but still very good. If they are still choosing 10 nominees for best picture this year at the Oscars, then it will get one. If they're back to 5, then maybe.

I didn't think it looked that great in the previews so I decided to skip seeing it. It seems like I usually see a movie around Christmas time and I didn't see any that were too interesting this year.

Saw it today. Very good movie. War scenes were toned down to get the pg13 rating but still brought the point home.

I will definitely be seeing it. A friend saw the stage play and raved about it. So I hope to see the play some day as well.
