I think we'll have a couple or two over to hang out and take it easy. That whole having kids thing means we don't go out anymore, so it's more having people over, playing some cards or board games, and watching the ball drop. Boring.

We will be at home like usual except for one year when we were in Chicago. We will probably have a nice dinner. Crab legs for my 6 year old. Lobster for me. Then watch a movie on the plasma in the basement.

That's my wife and I's anniversary, 1-1-00...married on Y2K.

We will be going to the Columbus downtown Hyatt's NYE party where they block off a couple floors and have live music, DJs, drinks, food, etc.

Wife and I thought about going to the Funny Bone, but decided on the Hyatt party instead.

That much different? Wonder if I can upgrade when I get there? I figured it was just the difference in types of alcohol and slightly shorter lines.

Party at friend's house. Poker early afternoon until the non-poker players start showing up. Then fun and games until about 3-4 AM.

MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH shorter lines. Remember they sell party only tickets as well, meaning there are about double the # of people there as to what they could realistically fit into rooms. They have 631 rooms, I'd expect over 2000 people for the party.

Got a rough idea on line wait times for VIP vs non-VIP?

like half the time as a VIP. Get drunk early, cause you won't have any fun later in the night waiting for drinks. That's really all I can remember. Plus you can actually move around in the VIP vs the general area

I was just getting over the flu, but I still had plenty of fun. I would expect I would have a lot of fun if I wasn't sick.

Nothing like a few hundred people all doing hte Cupid Shuffle at once.
